Edwards lost his place after a very poor game. Martina (who is ordinary not shocking) has not done anything that clearly demands dropping. This is perfectly logical management. And as to crossing, that is not how we play. We have no players who are likely to win the ball in the air so our crosses are along the ground, from which we scored two good goals yesterday.

At least Edwards is our player is young and can only improve with games. Martina is a shocking/ordinary (delete according to opinion) loan defender that we don’t need. I know who I’d be playing

This right back signing was just weird, we had two perfectly capable right backs at the club. Bauer has shown he isn't, saying that it seems Martina isn't exactly reliable, he's very hit and miss, decent enough back up at this level but not good enough as a starter for a team hoping for top 6. when has bauer shown he isn't capable? In the 2 poor games where everyone else was dogshit too? Every other player has been given an opportunity of some kind to prove themselves since August yet rowett's stubborn self can't give our only prem quality right back a fair shout. Bauer showed he was capable last season in a tougher league.

I know who I’d be playing Martina was signed when we only had a youngster who might or might not have succeeded in the first team. So it's not really true to say that we didn't need him. I'm no great Martina fan, I was trying to point out that what has happened is entirely logical.
