We're playing Pulisball without a target man up front. The amount of times the ball was lumped upto afobe yesterday for him to lose the header was alarming. Tbf he doesn't help himself because his movement is woeful imo.

Service or not his touch and work rate are appalling.

I'd not realised he was on until I saw him going off And that's genuine Who did you think was up front then? I was in the middle of loading furniture while watch it in bits on a stream

Not saying that lad is doing well but he is a player who is best running on to through balls with his pace like he did at Brentford , with a lot of our build up play it's hard to stay awake . Somehow we don't have strikers that suit how we play .

He seems to be far more of a threat away from home. It's not hard to work out why...

Diouf would have been offside or would have fallen over Diouf has been treated outrageously by Stoke City. Mainly by Mark Hughes. He's a far better player than Afobe. Diouf is paid handsomely for his services and would probably admit he has to pinch himself every morning when he realises he has been robbing a living in the Premier League for the last 4 years. Give me a break.

Hes our best striker we have had for years. He knows where the back of the net is.
Hes very quick and is always looking for through-balls. Will finish with 15 goals this season no problem.

Is he very quick? Have we seen much evidence of that? Knowing where the back of the net is isn't enough when you're playing as a lone striker, and he's entirely dependent on service. We need more from him.

I really dont get why he doesnt give Saido a good run in that position instead of benching him after every 2 fucking games !
You just know he will make way for McClean this coming Saturday!

Did f*ck all with it when he got here mind - but that's a different issue.

I've not seen anything that would suggest we pay up come Jan-19.
Save the cash and send him back for me; there's got to better out there for a lot less.

I still have hope for him, he is definitely underperforming for whatever reason but if he were to score more than 15 goals for us this or any season it would be his best ever season by a clear margin.

My worry is not only is he underperforming, he seems disinterested. Completely disconnected. You don't see him at the team party for example, he's not part of the squad is he? I mean he's not the only one, the team send very disconnected (fans, coaches, tactics, strategy). It's improving slowly but Adobe might yet be a flop, if he wants to succeed he's going to have to feed off scraps and do a bit of scrapping himself

Reminds me of jones, think his stats show he is more than capable in this league but seems to struggle when hes stepped up to the prem. Stick with I think he will get 15-20 goals. Saying that hes been awful of late
