This of course covers a few things that appeared in previous interviews but may be of interest...
You will be able to download the full interview with Bojan on the Football Daily podcast later on Thursday (it's not on there yet but will be)

It's a good thing Bojan doesn't read the Oatcake or the Sentinel, because if he did he would realise that a vast section of the fan base don't respect him at all and have never forgiven him for getting injured, for not being the player he was, for going out on loan, and for not turning on the magic in games when he wasn't even playing. He cannot however be unaware that his manager has no respect whatsoever for what he might bring to the team, and that the manager would rather play somebody with limited or no skill at all than run the risk that Bojan might win games for us, and since that is the state of the art, I find it difficult to believe that he is happy being here.

The mind boggles with Rowett keeping him on the bench. We're struggling for goals, and every time Bojan plays, he creates chances and is a threat to opposition, who have to change tactics to deal with him.
Afobe and Saido would score so many more with him just behind them
Rowett can only dream of being 1/10th the footballer Bojan is.
A naturally gifted footballer. Make the most of him 'cos it's going to be decades until we see the likes of him again in a stoke shirt.

You don't think Rowett would have him in the team if he thought he could make a difference ? Of course he would The same goes for his loan managers and Hughes and even Ajax before. They can't all be wrong

They can't all be wrong Rowett hates flair and creativity, loves an unskilled work horse (see McClean) Hughes' downfall started the moment he axed Bojan for Imbula, and then Hughes lost the plot over the next 18 months (not featuring Bojan). I still think we would have never gone down if we had played Bojan in his favoured position. Lambert shored up the defence, but neglected the attacking side of things, and Bojan was on loan. Ajax won the Dutch Super cup with Bojan in the team. We were on the verge of Europe, with Bojan in the team.

They can't all be wrong Yes, it's not possible to deny there is a theme. Each time under each manager he seems to end up on the pile marked 'lightweight, luxury player' for all his undoubted gifts. The fans hate it because he is the kind of player you'd pay money to see and we have precious few of them. I think he'd be best in a really strong team that is thriving but he hasn't been in that situation for some time now.

With an average of 27 minutes playing time in his 13 games, I think it's grossly unfair he's being accused of "not doing anything". He's played under 20 minutes in 7 of his 13 appearances. Meanwhile players like Diouf, who everyone acknowledges to be unfit for purpose has played more significantly more minutes in 6 fewer appearances!

Just a theory, but maybe explains why Boj faltered when LMH unbalanced the team from the second half of 15/16 onwards. In other words: we built a team around him previously

They can't all be wrong Why not? None of them have been successful without him. That might not tell you anything, but there's always a chance that it would. As for Rowett you inadvertently hit it right on the nail. Rowett doesn't even consider the possibility that Bojan could make a difference. Why? Because he hates the fact that Bojan, in pre season at least, was more popular than all the Rowett signings put together.

Throw him in to a failing team in the hope he will work some magic to turn it around won't work.

Congratulations without doubt, the most ludicrous post ever, and there Has been plenty. Most ludicrous post ever??? There have surely been plenty much more ludicrous posts than that one, including I would think yours? Quite a few posters on here have rubbished Bojan although he has never been given a chance by this manager with a run of games, like for example his signings McLean and Afobe have. Bojan is probably one of the only footballers on the books I feel like crossing the road to watch. If he is happy at Stoke, it’s difficult to understand why, as this manager appears to treat him with total disrespect, and if he goes in January, one of the most talented players ever to wear the red and white, will be lost to us at the age of 28, without us ever knowing what he might have been able to achieve for us. For me, that would be a great shame.

They can't all be wrong I agree. If he was half as good on the pitch as he is at self promotion off it he would be better than Messi. The fact that he is happy sitting on the bench at a Championship club speaks volumes. Sad waste of obvious talent!

You don't think Rowett would have him in the team if he thought he could make a difference ? Of course he would The same goes for his loan managers and Hughes and even Ajax before. They can't all be wrong Why can't they? Think about it for a moment, how many managers in football actually make a success of it. I mean a real success. Furthermore, how many players only seem to perform well under certain managers? Fuller was pretty flat everywhere apart from under 2 managers in his career. Many footballers have typically only looked great under 1 or 2 managers, Rowett for better or worse has a desire to play a certain way. A deep 3 in midfield and 2 wide attacking men and a forward to lead the line. It doesn't matter who is available (see Afobe and Berahino for details) this is how he'll line up. Clucas has suggested he has great movement, an interchangeable front 4 of Clucas, Bojan, Berahino/Afobe and Ince would likely be what works best. But Rowett very much wants a rigid front 3 of McClean, Berahino/Afobe, Ince and that's it. Bojan will always look less effective when asked to play deeper behind a front line being instructed to be so rigid. Coming back to Fuller, he was actually a man who worked in a rigid front line, in fact, so was Beattie. Some players can make that work for them, some can't and Bojan isn't one of them. Many seem to forget Bojan came back from injury and got 7 in 27 in the league. When Arnautovic and Shaqiri were in the mix. He was at his best when it was Arnautovic - Bojan - Shaqiri behind 1 from Walters/Diouf/Joselu. Something the team could well recreate to a lesser ability as I mentioned before.

Bang on, the injury ruining him is one of the biggest myths of the Hughes era, he came back stronger and played in a much better side. Great analogy with Fuller too, you could find most of the players of the Pulis era were only big successes with us.

Just because he doesn't make noises in the press about no starting like other players we've had (Crouch/Walters/Adam) doesn't mean he's happy. He's been quite professional about his treatment in my opinion. Where is he self-promoting too? He's quite candid about the fact that he's never fulfilled his potential, due to his mental state, pressure and injuries. He's hardly suggesting he belongs in the Champions League.

It was Rowett that told Will Hughes that he "wasn't his type of player" - the same Will Hughes starting every game for Watford! I don't doubt Bojan is a shadow of what he was but still think there's loads he can offer us either in a starting role or from the bench. The amount of minutes McClean has been given vs Bojan this season is a disgrace.

I felt our most balanced performance of the season was the win at home to bolton and Bojan played very well in midfield, tracking back and winning the ball. I'm sure someone put a stat on here to show he made the most tackles or interceptions that game?
