Has it been postponed yet? One man and his dog pelting our team coach as it goes by? I just hope the powers-that-be realise they do that to all traffic in Burslem!

Does the Vale still have that toilet block with urinals all round and a solitary bog seat in the middle (with no cubicle surrounding it)?
That spectacle was on display during my previous visit to Fail Park - when we also demolished their team ???.

Hope that Bauer plays, and plays out his skin to show he shouldn't be in the position he's in regarding being nowhere near the first team So he'll have to play about 3000% better than when he HAS turned out for the first team this season then

I know it will be a lively atmosphere tonight but I would like to think us Stokies will show respect when the Vale hold a minutes applause for Errol Yorke. He recently passed away with cancer. I knew Errol and his son Gavin (Boomer - Vale's mascot). He was a lovely man and a true gentleman who, together with his son, devoted his time to raising money for charity and encouraging young players. Come on you Stokies show that true supporters can appreciate a true fan.

If not is that one less off his ban?

Didn't know his old man but if he anything like Gavin he will of been a good un. I don't envisage anything other than good applause , anyone thinking otherwise is a disgrace to Stoke. Someone put a post up on here that they put a tribute on the scoreboard for Russ and had a minutes applause for him at a Vale home game and he was a known Stokie. Sometimes rivalries can be put aside for one minutes reflection.

So we can play him keep his fitness up? Yes , 2 over aged players allowed. Last season it was 4. Though if a player who has played in a World Cup can't keep himself fit for 2 weeks it is time pack in

Good luck to lads tonight. I really hope they have there mind set ready for this. Possibly around 7000 + fans. What a great learning experience this will be for them. Come on Stoke. Really think they will put a good performance in tonight, already proud of the fact they progressed out of the group thingy, we look rapid on counters and can ping it about. COME ON STOKE.

The game may have to be postponed and moved to a neutral venue. The Nou Camp has been discussed as a possibility to discourage the Bursa Bravas scum bags from travelling in their caravans. Black and Gold Until They Fold!!

If so,the respect should definitely be reciprocated.(It ought to be anyway.)

STOKE CITY TEAM NEWS Stoke have suffered a blow with the late loss of Harry Souttar, who is suffering from illness.Scott Wara will take his place in the centre of defence, alongside Republic of Ireland youth international Nathan Collins. Jakob Haugaard returns in goal but Stoke are otherwise going with an entirely under-21 team, even though they are allowed to field two over-age players.Tyrese Campbell leads the line up front while Ollie Shenton will be captain.

Boomer (obviously in his alter ego guise) has attended a Stoke match with me. He is Vale through and through but doesn't hold any animosity towards Stokies. Perhaps others should follow his example.

Sheds you are probably right but if they can achieve this regularly in the checkatrade surely just surely one or two could have a slim chance. This club really needs to have some faith in what they recruit and give em a chance 🤥
