What stirred those 'passions' last night then? How many of our starting XI last night would they know if they smacked them with a wet mackerel? There was genuine needle in the 90s when there was something at stake, which made it at least understandable if not acceptable. Last night was a kids' game, it was just an excuse for some bellends to get tanked up and cause trouble. I think it would of been the same even if we had beat them 4-0 That’s my point. They weren’t interested in the football remotely.

This is why I watched the stream. Not a derby game for 16 years. Who wasn't expecting any sort of violence. Even if it isn't condoned.

Throwing bottles! They were polyethylene containers, the type that posh kids at Glastonbury chuck about whilst watching*insert band of choice*. Hardly worth writing home about, not bottles

I'd love know the bell end who tried start a fire in the Hamil end. It was full of your own fans. Seriously I've got some really genuine Stoke fans as mates, but what the hell goes through these morons heads.

Both sets of fans have the hooligan brigade but vast majority were well behaved. Should have given Vale the Railway stand and paddock from the half way line to the Bycars. Would have been less provacation between both sets of fans.

Apparently it is on Social media , not sure which one but there is a guy called Brad who took a flare , it went off in his pocket and he has had to have a skin graft. Both side have knobs and it was all so predictable from the moment ticket sales took off . Aline of Police cordoning Vale from the half way lane would of alleviated a lot .

Bunch of f*£n bell ends, have a couple of pints of shandy then start bouncing up and down in their stone island thinking they are ten tonnes!. Bet they’re waking up this morning telling all there work mates how hard they are then when the police come knocking it’ll be “please mum tell him it wasn’t me!!” . Smashing up toilets in a secure environment!, that’s well hard!, would love to see them face to face with the likes of millwall, hammers, Chelsea etc in the late 70s , early 80s!! You wouldn’t see them for dust!

What do you think that's got to do with anything? You're comparing the actual events and behaviour of our fans to something other fans *might* have done in a hypothetical scenario. What's the point? I am pointing out that all this sensationalised nonsense over some smashed windows and a few broken seats does not warrant all this dramatic out cry over a few idiots. Seen the video the Daily Mail and Sky News are sharing from their London offices - not even a sniff of a punch being thrown. If local, independent businesses have been smashed up in Burslem then it is a different matter. It was always going to happen, it happens all the time with other clubs. No one has been hurt, Stoke will foot the bill, now move on. You are something different that’s for sure. I’m really lost for words in respect of your comments about social behaviour, vandalism etc. No no wonder this country is going down the pan. RESPECT is in the dictionary, I suggest you google its meaning

Great. Well that guarantees us jacked up security at every game, inflicted on the innocent majority, for at least the next decade.

Seriously I've got some really genuine Stoke fans as mates, but what the hell goes through these morons heads. I can confirm that no one tried to start a fire anywhere, at any time. Some clown threw a smoke bomb in the concourse which ended up in some rubbish on the floor. This started to smoke even more before someone stamped on it and put it out. But it shows that stupid people throwing pyrotechnics at a football ground are utter knobs.

I'm sorry but anybody who takes a flare into a confined public place is a prick. If it goes off and hurts them tough, shouldn't have done it. He could have thrown it and seriously injured an innocent person or child. No sympathy for him I'm afraid.

I hope his micro-penis has burned to a crisp If you read the twitter thread, it alleges that he actually was clearing it away from other kids, and that it wasn't his flare, but still exploded in his hand.

Get a grip, man. There's men stabbing young teens in London every other week whilst multi-billionaires get away with harassing women in an office. But a few pissed up youths smashing some windows are scum of the earth? Stupid, yes, totally. Brain dead scum of the earth then Wankers. That's possibly the term you are searching for.

There's bellends at every club, and derby games bring them out.. Not in anyway condoning what happened in the bogs at the hamil end but the vale would have done exactly the same at our place, make no mistake about that.

I'm not making excuses for it mate, I too am utterly ashamed of their behaviour, I just felt it was inevitable that's all "Inevitable" implies nothing can be done about it and in effect we have to expect it to happen and put up with it. That's very different to saying there was a strong possibility of it happening - that's just a prediction, not a form of acceptance. I don't think this is "inevitable", something could and should be done about it and I don't believe I should have to put up with it - which includes having to listen to the half arsed justifications being cobbled together by the saddos who want to pass this off as in any way excusable. I don't believe you are making excuses but describing it is inevitable puts you on a fence that no-one should be sitting on. This is one where you either condone or condemn. Incidentally I'm not a pacifist. There are times where civil disobedience and disorder can be justified. Anyone claiming this is one of the them is a moron. This was mindless aggression - idiots getting their rocks off by indulging in a bit of macho posturing and willfull destruction. It's utterly pathetic. I'm not quite sure what your trying to say there The thread was a match report thread hence why I commented on the game, as for the trouble I totally deplore it like I've said and I agree with you. Not sure what your problem is with me but if you check any of my posts not once have I condoned trouble
