Remember going there on New Years Day 1992. Stokies outnumbered the home fans. We obviously lost! Loads in fancy dress. I remember Goofy running for his life while being chased by some Shrewsbury fans. remember it well. We lost 1-0.

I remember being the last to pay on the gate, then they opened them up and let the rest in free in the terrace to the right

Didn't the Oatcake print a picture of the Shrewsbury team and the Brazilian national side, questioning if our players knew the difference?

If you need tickets for the home end remember to say your name is Evans, Jones, Morgan or Parry. Any other name and they will know you are not related to the & therefore an 'outsider'. Ive done quite a bit of work in Shrewsbury, I've hardly ever heard a Welsh accent, most people there sound like they were born in Richmond-Upon-Thames

Didn't the Oatcake print a picture of the Shrewsbury team and the Brazilian national side asking our players if they knew the difference? we did, I used to knock about with Dean Spink who played centre half then centre forward for them, he used to love playing us but not as much as playing the field. Top shagger that lad

What's the away allocation likely to be? about 2500. All behind the goal I went to see Salop a few weeks ago as my lad d 2 free tickets , i know I'm changing the subject but the safe standing is such a great idea Away stand holds 1,792

They just got a new manager too. The lad from Wrexham Sam Ricketts they've got a good striker who's name is something like Odemwingie, ( can't be arsed to Google him) but he looks a prospect. Also Greg Docherty from Rangers is a real good winger

Happy with that. Local team and a great place to drink, even better that we should beat them.

I'd most certainly treat them with respect and play a full strength side.
I don't agree with that poster on their board saying "We should be beating the likes of Stoke City" and he comes across as a right arrogant cock, but by the same token, let's not forget how shit we are at the moment.

I'm a salopian lord you twat ππ’ Me too and it's Salopian you Welsh loving arseholeπ My spelling is shocking, almost as bad as Benji's. Honestly don't know what people have against the Welsh. Completely harmless most of them. Too many Wolves and Liverpool fans in Shrewsbury for me.

No surprise in that statement. A section of their support don't realise what a small club they are, it's weird. Some of are fine by the way
