Pulis said he's been informed about the piece and has not read it as yet. He said he will read it then he'll decide what to do.

Didn't he have a really good couple of seasons at Reading? Him, Doyle, Shane Long and Sidwell were all at Reading around the time. Just a poor fit for a Pulis team with way he plays (although he did have a good run of form in his second season, might've actually been around time of Arsenal game).
Likes of him or Tuncay were never going to be good long term fits in Pulis ball hence Sidibe still start more games than either combined from 2008-10.
Anyway way I see this latest venture is he wants to out himself as the Secret footballer but knows he'll be sued from high heaven if he admits it's him so will tell lesser stories although they're pretty similar to the ones in TSF books if you look closely enough (e.g. him and Steve Cotterill when they were at Pompey).

While all this hate's going around, the only one of the three I seriously hate is Dave Kitson. Can't bear snivelling human beings who ration themselves out instead of giving what they've got to whatever they're doing.

There's a Rod Liddle piece on Pulis/Ryan/Ramsey in today's Sunday Times.
Sunday Times is pay to view and I only have the actual paper so I can't post the link.
It's bloody funny as you'd expect from Liddle but some folks on here will be a little indignant about it.
In essence he defends the uncompromising Welshman Pulis but this about Ryan did make me smile although I know it will bring some folks on here out in a rash:
'There are caveats, many caveats. I am not absolutely convinced that Mr Ryan Shawcross requires encouragement to clatter the hell out of someone. I think Ryan would do it all the same , even if his manager was Archbishop Justin Welby. You might say, uncharitably perhaps, that there is little more to Ryan's game than hacking lumps out of the opposition (and we've had plenty like him down The Den, believe me, the most egregious being Kevin Muscat, although Gavin Maguire ran him close. Both firm favourites with the fans, of course, as is Shawcross'
