Did he Pugsley? Are you honestly saying that you believe Kitson heard the snap above the crowd noise and from 100 meters away when thousands far closer heard nothing? No idea, no one can prove otherwise. Why are people concentrating on this and sweeping the other stuff under the carpet in embarrassment? What’s to sweep under the carpet ? The crime is what exactly ?

Dave Kitson obviously doesn't remember that prior to the Shawcross/Ramsey incident, the referee didn't deem anything worthy of a yellow card in the entire match.
The man is a weasel.

I can't think of a more beige, irrelevant footballer that I'd want to hear opinions from. Especially 8 years after the fact. Only The Sun would allow that fucking garbage to be printed. Has anyone actually read it? It's like a rambling of a 10 year old, completely sensationalised guff.

So, Ramsey managed to get over his injury and resurrect his career but the poor little flower Kitson couldn't manage it even though he was only sat on the bench? One look from Wenger and the shame of playing for Pulis was too much him. Ahhh diddums...
How is his personal fight against anti-gingerism going, the bitter rusty cunt?

Kitson using the Ramsey leg break as a reason for why he was shite at football.

"It was as if he was saying to me ‘I’m surprised that you would be a part of this’." Fucking hell, how delusional is that Regardless of our varying opinions of Tony Pulis on this board, it's quite clear that Dave Kitson's obsession with him is bordering on the concerning.

No idea, no one can prove otherwise. Why are people concentrating on this and sweeping the other stuff under the carpet in embarrassment? The reason is that claiming to hear the leg snap conveys a particularly gruesome picture in most readers minds. The rest is just really old rehashed news being dug up by a bitter insecure agenda driven prick. A mainly factual story embellished with elements of shock melodrama can completely change the perception of the situation in a readers mind.

Are people still bringing this shit up ? 8 years ago ffs! Is this 1 incident going to be hanging over ours and Ryan's heads forever ? I'd hoped if relegation gave us 1 thing it would be relief from the Ramsey tackle
Not as long as there are still ex-players to drag it up because they can't make money in football any other way because they had nothing but a mediocre career where they failed to live up to just about every expectation people had of them when seeing their "potential" for the first time.
Not famous enough to be a regular pundit anywhere (as he was too shit to play for anyone decent so no fucker even remembers he exists nowadays) so has to resort to this kind of stuff and blame Pulis for him deciding he'd had enough of footballl because it was too over the top for him. And all this Wenger thinking "I'm surprised you're part of this Dave" bollocks? Yeah, cos Wenger knew Kitson so well he was shocked such a good little boy would be involved with our team? Wenger had probably never even heard of the bastard, let alone knew of Kitson's temperament or personal belief systems (and if he did, why would he be surpirsed Kitson was part of it? This was a man who admitted to attacking his own manager with scissors in the dressing room...not such a tender, easily offended soul when you're attacking someone else with a blade are you Dave?)
Simple fact is Dave...you were a shit (at best, rank average) footballer who's career at Stoke ended because...well, you were shit. You never got a big move to make decent money because..well, you were shit and the only reason people will read this article is because people have heard of the teams involved because most people won't even fucking remember who you are let alone read it because it's the great Dave Kitson!
Legend in his own fucking mind. Only a prick, attention seeker like him could try to make out like he has some inside scoop...from the fucking bench because he wasn't even good enough to get a starting position at a lower mid-table Prem club.
He's always been a prick even with the fans! Remember going to training one day and there was a couple of lads with a big, professional video camera and they were making a video for the reception for the groom. They asked all the players as they walked across to the car park (from the old portacabin "changing room" they had back then) to say a couple of words pretending like the groom was their mate for a laugh for the wedding. EVERY player, Peter Reid and even Tone were happy to do a quick bit to camera for the happy occasion and those of us there though it was ace for the players to be doing that (many will know how willing they always were to chat to fans who'd been to watch training and how friendly they'd be to anyone who wanted to chat). Cue Mr Kitson walking out (on his own because even the players knew he was a prick so apparently had very few friends there), being asked to do the same as EVERYONE else had done to which he replied "You'll need to contact my agent as he discusses fees for this sort of thing". Utter cunt of an attention seeking, bitter fucker who wants to rake up any kind of sensationalist shit he can in order to make money, because he was't talented enough a player for people to actually remember, care about or book nowadays.

I was sat a few rows behind Kitson, and I know that Wenger and Pat Rice were too busy falling out with supporters to give out withering looks. I also note that after deciding he never wanted to play for us again, he erm...went on to play for us again. However, this is all by the by. Most of us have moved on from this, and that's really the big point here.
Eight years after leaving the club, Dave Kitson is still banging on about how much he hates Tony Pulis and how much he hated his time at Stoke. He used to do it under the guise of 'The Secret Footballer' and now does it as Dave Kitson. Does anybody at Stoke ever think about Kitson? Does Tony Pulis ever talk to the press about Dave Kitson? No, because everybody else has moved on, whereas Kitson himself is still harbouring a smouldering grudge.
Get help, Dave, and move on. I'm seriously worried for his mental health.

I had to read that twice to believe what I was seeing - astonishing! Of course Arsene Wenger's reaction after seeing one of his players with a bosted leg was to turn to Dave Kitson and with only one look ask "You Dave? You, really? How could you be a part of this...?" Utterly delusional

Why on earth has this been brought up now?
Wenger's gone We've been relegated Ramsey recovered and is likely to be going to some other big club Pulis has gone Kitson left ages ago .... and it's in the sun.
If we do meet again, i'm pretty sure it'll be a lot more beige than the media want it to be, as most of the protagonists won't be there, and Shawcross is no longer a guaranteed starter.

The story is now in the sentinel which means it will then be in The daily Mail and then Talksport and so it goes on,to be resurrected again when we next face Arsenal....even if it's in 20 years time !

He has to biring it up again because if anyone asked him to write him a story about his own career, it'd just about fill the back of a postage stamp. He therefore has to ride the coat tails of "big stories" that involved clubs he just happened to play for once (even if he wasn't directly involved because he wasnt good enough to even be on the fucking pitch)

You're right, of course. Media prostitute. Write any old shite - he has to earn a living somehow. BTW love your Dylan quote . Great song, great album Ha! Yes indeed, what an album and what a track!? The festival was over, the boys were all plannin' for a fall The cabaret was quiet except for the drillin' in the wall The curfew had been lifted and the gamblin' wheel shut down Anyone with any sense had already left town He was standin' in the doorway lookin' like the Jack of Hearts The cabaret was empty now, a sign said "Closed for repair" Lily had already taken all the dye out of her hair She was thinkin' 'bout her father who she very rarely saw Thinkin' 'bout Rosemary and thinkin' about the law But most of all, she was thinkin''bout the Jack of hearts

I doubt if TP will care what Kitson claims. Of course TP fired us up against teams like Arsenal - just like a lot of other managers of mid/lower half of the table teams do.
Shawcross is the person who has been maligned by this article. I was there that day and no way did Shawcross set out to injure Ramsey nor was he out of control in any way. In fact there would have been no incident if the ref had blown up for a foul against Bendtner who pulled Shawcross back and was responsible for him losing the ball just before the Ramsey incident.
If Kitson could see so much from the bench that day, I'm surprised he didn't comment on the player who, out of all 22 on the pitch, WAS deliberately trying to hurt someone - namely Fabregas who as I recall deliberately raked the achilles of one of our players - was it Pugh? That was about the only really cynical foul of the game.
