On CNN they're saying that the Saudis are going to be releasing a statement to the effect that the journalist died in an unfortunate accident during interrogation. Bit of a turnaround and not exactly mitigation. Will they buy themselves out of this one. 🤔

If they didn't have the oil many of these Arabian countries would be parriahs like North Korea Oil gets you special privileges doesn't it. With these murderous and cruel bastards it gets you a legitimising bunk at Buckingham Palace and a shit load of arms with which to slaughter Yemeni civilians. What's that compared to lovely oil though

It goes much deeper than that. A Pakistani friend told me they stopped having Imans from Saudi, around Stoke, due to their extreme beliefs!

Makes you wonder what sort of other wild, absurd, excuses - er, I mean 'explanations' - they must have cooked up and bandied about amongst themselves before they ran THAT one up the flagpole……. I'm sure it said on the news yesterday that he left his (I think) mobile phone (?) with his fiancee, who stayed outside, and that the watch he was wearing transmitted his torture and death to the phone, so it's all on record. EDIT: PS: So the emergence of the news of this phone-evidence thing must be why they're now admitting 'he died'??? Originally they denied anything had happened to him...

Of the two main parties now, have a guess which leader was a vehement supporter of the Iraq war and have a guess which one voted against it, campaigned against it, marched against it and was on the right side of history once again.

Would it be the IRA supporting, PLO sympathising, Holocaust denying one? Not sure who that is, I'm talking about the one with the blood of half a million civilians on her hands. Just because an opposition MP of the time supported the blatant lies of the PM at the time doesn’t make that MP or any more gullible than the others who backed the then government over Iraq. Admittedly that doesn’t make it right to kill civilians, but who would expect the PM to lie over such serious matters. As for you not having a clue who the other person is, your knowledge of current MP’s must be very limited to say the least.

If there has ever been a more debased, offensive and filthy tweet, lacking in any class, self awareness than the one posted by this coloso-cunt then I've never seen it. Stop arming the cunts responsible to the teeth then you fucking cunt.

As well as funding some of the most extreme Jihadi groups throughout the Middle East. Massive shit stirring in Syria. All because he had the guts to speak out about a Saudi Prince

Whatever the truth is behind this story you have to understand that CNN never reports the facts. It is the bost biased, untrustworthy, undemocratic and disgusting "news" service in the western world. The real story will come from another broadcaster, mark my words.

The Saudi royal family can be ruthless with one another in settling scores. I reckon it's an internal matter as this "journalist" is well-connected to opponents of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salmon within the family. There's a rumour one of the interrogators died in a car crash last week. Turkey might have the consulate bugged and is shit stirring to do someone a favour otherwise this would have remained secret. Before anyone asks me for evidence, I anner got any.

Heard that the stalwart of free speech Erdogan wants the perpetrators to stand trial in Turkey. Like he can talk. He's playing his cards well though... increase the pressure on the saudis by degree and then get a wedge out of them to stop revealing any more. Or, if they wont pay up he can play the responsible world leader and reveal the truth. Given the saudis arrogance they will be finding it very difficult to consider paying up - but he has them by the balls.

This is a decent article giving a possible insight into Erdogan's approach to this crisis with an interesting insight into the USA's position. More reasons to dislike politicians.
