Do the brummies always take so many to away games? Given that they have been struggling for the past couple of years I cannot understand why they sold out so quickly. Given that to buy tickets you have to be in the system I doubt you will see brummies in the home areas unless they have brought them off a stoke fan in which case the stoke fan should be banned for life.

Their support is a bit like ours. Nothing special, but occasionally a match gets the juices flowing and loads turn out. They could easily have sold 5k for this one.

I know quite a few blues fans living here on the outskirts of brummie land & quite a few of managed to get tickets in home areas one way or another. The club need to take a good look at how this happens so easily as some of them are only going to cause trouble.

Just a pity its not this weekend.
Hate international breaks, just as we're showing signs of improvement.
Need to find something to do a bit sharpish before the missus rumbles i'm at a loose end.....

I've said on here before that this game will be toxic. I think the police and stewards need to be alert for this one. I can't see Birmingham avoiding the centre of Stoke and will be there early. I think a lot our hoolies will be frothing at the mouth at the prospect of this. Let's hope the day goes without incident but just can't see it to be honest.

I imagine Stafford will be full of them being as it's a popular stop off for teams in that area.

I think your spot on about this, short journey, old reputations to uphold, generous allocation and I also think your right about blues trying to get into Hanley and Stoke early, sad to say in this day and age but this fixture could be toxic inside and outside the ground, I hope I'm wrong but I despair that I'm not!

Think you might be right probably be most oldbill seen down stoke for a long time actually was talking to a friend at weekend whos a copper says they are more worried about boro never been sure why Boro is always labelled a high risk game, couple of seasons ago when we played them at home there was police patrolling near the incinerator and a drone flying about, never really seen that much from them as for Birmingham could be a fun day.... ......and they got laced.

What a load of bollocks nothing will happen those days are long gone both clubs have no more than about 25 active hooligans who’ll be only to happy to sit in a pub all day and claim a no show , Wolves at home in the cup the other year proved it turn up early claim a result no punches thrown all day bla bla the 80s and 90s are long gone

Hoping there will be no trouble at all inside or out, but a cracking atmosphere in the ground with us having the three points, and the blues going home with nowt and their tails between their legs!

I was convinced they would move the kick off for this game. They will turn up in huge numbers for a knock. Stoke will be out in force. Could be very messy. South stand will be a big tasty to say the least

Consuming a Brummie wont count against your five a day either

South stand will be a big tasty to say the least The South Stand could be carnage. Games like this are one of the main reasons that I swapped my seat. I'm sure it will be well policed though, so may help to prevent anything major happening. I'm not sure how they will police Stoke town centre because I've got a funny feeling that Birmingham will turn up in numbers. I guess we'll just have to hope that the police do their job properly and take no shit.

Think you're right unfortunately Clyde. Stoke will be very busy early doors and Birmingham will more than likely get a hostile reception should they venture into Stoke. It's always been a no go area for away fans and the police try to discourage travelling fans from going into the town centre - there's good reason for this. Hopefully it's a great day that won't be remembered for the wrong reasons.
