Today wasn't a relegation performance. I would disagree. We played them off the park. That was never a relegation performance.

Today sounded like a reasonably big step forward overall (admittedly I didn't watch it). But, all things considered, sounded like by far the best we've played this season - against a reasonable (if not great) Championship team - and a little bit of a mugging. I appreciate the anger around, and I share the frustration, but hopefully it's the start of an upward swing. Except that Wednesday were and are shite. Not at this level they’re not.Right now they’re top half.

Is Stan Collymore there?
If not, I have his number.
You can WhatsApp him and he'll be there quicker than you can say "shut the fuck up, Ulrika".

I think if you had watched, it would be impossible to disagree with the OP. Total bottle job. (He may or may not be in a car park - that's the only thing open to debate...) Indeed I can confirm I was stuck in a car park for best part of an hour and no, no one was dogging. Total bottle job by Rowett. Diouf and Allen needed to be subbed after 65 mins for Bera and Bojan Fletcher for goodness sake !!! And Crouch Still I was warned by Derby mates POIDH I'm constantly fucked off amazed managers make these decisions when almost all the fans can see what's necessary...

Played well and then Rowett bottled it with too late subs Diouff off for Bera and Dog chasing balloon for Bojan Crouch was also madness Fletcher shocking Totally bottled it Mr Rowett But Ryan Woods eh? What a player Did he bollocks, we should have been clean out of sight while leading 2 nil. If Crouch had come on and scored, this thread would not exist. Bin the thread to the shit bin and while you are at it put the samaritans number at the title of the thread please.

It's a results business. Can you hand on heart say 1 win in 7 1 clean sheet in 7 20th in the league represents good job performance. I know if my performance was 14% and falling I wouldn't have to worry about the drive to work much longer! Of course it’s not good enough I get that but patience is required imo I get the patience part BUT if a manager can’t see when a player needs subbing or that when he does make a sub and the player that comes on is the wrong choice, that’s got nothing to do with us being patient. It’s poor game day management and piss poor at that.

But we were not clean out of sight and Crouch did not score or indeed do anything No need for Samaritans fella, just a game of football that people express an opinion about, which I did strangely after the match whilst sitting in a grid locked car park.

Replacing a tired Etebo for Fletcher, regardless how tired he is, is like swapping a Rolls Royce for a Fiat. You just don’t do it. A Fiat with a full tank of petrol will get you further than an empty Bentley A Fiat that has been running on empty for at least 12 months will get you no where. Fletcher has no place on a Championship football pitch.

Some you win some you lose .....but we drew Sums up today in which we were superb but it’s only my opinion I think the problem with the overreaction here Wez, is what's gone on before. Some people can see today for what it is in relation to what has gone previous and can see serious improvement and progression. Others can't it seems. Personally I thought it's the best away performance for many a year (going back to Anfield in the semi?) and by far and away the best this season.

But the manager blew it in my view opinion with his late and wrong subs

We played them off the park. That was never a relegation performance. A bit like palace and Brighton away last year. Should have taken 6 points, took 1 because we couldn't defend. Until the back four is sorted out we are going to have more and more misery Basic isn't it? Start with your defence. Rowett has got it completely wrong.

But my overriding feeling is frustration. It's mid September and showing no signs of climbing up the table despite a very bright performance.

Fletcher has no place on a Championship football pitch. It was not managers fault that we were not clean out of sight before making the substitutions. It's about taking your chances especially when you're on top which we were, but of cause it's only the managers doing when we are not on top.

Needs the balls to drop or be lucky with injuries to play Williams instead of Ryan.

I agree that it isn't the manager's fault when players fail to take good chances. It is the manager's fault when a player whose legs have been gone for at least 12 months gets onto the pitch. Fletcher has had a great career. He was bloody good player. He is past it.
