What a stupid f***ing tweet. How is the transfer strategy to blame for a player breaking his arm? Some of the shit people write. Erm...no back-up player?

It’s ok, it’s not like we are restricted and have missed the opportunity to get another winger in... oh wait....

Leave it out Haway. Hull are shite as well. No big deal beating them, and we almost managed to cock that up!

Let's just say for arguement sake.... We play better and win a couple of games WITHOUT McClean in the side.....
What are the chances of Rowett bringing him straight back in once he's fit again???
Cuz for me, I wouldn't put it past Rowett!!!

Bojan out wide would work a treat. It will give Gary another reason to drop him. He needs to pull his finger out and do his bit, if it means playing on the wing he needs to step up. Personally, I'd play Ince left, Bauer right, bojan number 10 & Berahino up top

We really don’t have much luck with injuries do we.

We really don’t have much luck with injuries do we. It’s difficult to say whether we are any more or any less lucky compared to others. What it does tend to hi light though is the complete lack of quality in depth that we have had for some years now and that can be fairly levelled at managers and the board for either not recognising it or not putting their hand in their pocket.

Well, every cloud has a silver lining. We are so poor to start with that losing a player can't really make us any worse.
No, don't thank me, that's what I'm here for.

You need a back-up for each position except GK where you need three. It’s that simple.

Curious as to who plays wing then if he's broken it. Bojan and Diouf? Bauer and Diouf? Bit shit this. To paraphrase from Lord of the Rings..... "He doesn't need his arm ....does he?"

You need a back-up for each position except GK where you need three. It’s that simple. we have a squad big enough to cope with injuries , you cannot just go out and flood your squad with like for like players ,you have players who can cover various positions until the player is fit again , I am sure we will have someone to play in mcleans position and listing to some on here he won't be missed anyway

Maclean injured is surely a plus, he’s so one diminsional. One player looking for a club after turning down an extension at Norwich is Wes Hoolahan, be perfect for you, great passer and link up man between midfield and attack, good for assists and the odd goal, much better option than Maclean, had many years in prem and championship. Very good player to have in your squad on a one year deal i’d say.

Has it actually been confirmed as a broken arm? Last report I've seen from the FAI is a 'wrist injury' which would require surgery? No mention of a break although that would be the obvious assumption to make.

What a stupid f***ing tweet. How is the transfer strategy to blame for a player breaking his arm? Some of the shit people write. It was a little zealously worded. But surely you get the point? (50 games, tough physical league, .. wingers required to particularly exert lots of pace and energy during games, so prone to be substituted too to maintain their threat.... our team is set up as 442, so is relying on its wider players ??? Yet 2 capable wingers in squad.) Freebies here - www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/free-agents-transfers-sako-yacob-15025743Nasri one wing, Sako the other, Kirchoff or Flamini as CDM, Huth or Collins as CB, Onuha as back up LB, Lacina Traore as additional striker with Anichebe as back up or Bent off the bench.
