Obviously we could never grass our mates up so had to do the full week There was no time off for good behaviour in them days. Nowadays the headmaster would probably get about a ten stretch for child cruelty.

I would have thought that there's enough cctv around to view exactly who is involved
There are also enough fans around to see the person(s) doing this
As mentioned the follow on effect for all of us, may be reduced ticket allocation etc
We are not the only club to have "fans" who behave like this, maybe there needs to be a coordinated effort to ban those responsible
It seems that it is relatively easy to "smuggle" such devices into the ground at the moment, the ones to suffer being our own supporters

Getting pyro into The Hawthorns?! Searched & searched again for the past few seasons I had to demonstrate that my change purse was full of................change, and the steward insisted on taking the top off my flask and peering into it. Quite what that told him, I'm not sure ! And yet some idiot gets a pyro in I think one worry is that "Prestongate" and this incident might increase the liklihood of more intensive policing and stewarding and possibly even reduced allocations Malcolm, if you stop wearing your burberry cap and Stone Island jacket you might not be so suspect! Why these morons think it's acceptable to keep bringing pyro is beyond me.

Pyro seems to have disappeared from our away days at the minute, we've moved on to bigger and better entertainment, Bruce out v Bruce in trying to knock 7 bells out of each other UTV

I was not there yesterday thankfully but in fighting has always gone on at The Villa aways bizarrely the relegation season saw the least in fighting for ages, rather than Bruce in v out over the years it's been more of those that think we have a devine right to be in the top half of the premier league v realists who accept where we are and what we are obviously fuelled by alcohol or other dubious substances UTV

What a great response to Preston by setting shit off like this in a concourse. All the justification potentially overzealous forces need for next away games.

Have been to loads of Italian games, flares and smoke grenades are set off fucking everywhere over there. I remember pissing up the wall once because someone had let a flare off in the bogs, not that me pissing up the wall made much difference to the ambience of the aforementioned latrinum. And you enjoy flares Yes I do. In fact I think they should be made mandatory, along with drums.

No doubt it'll be the Police's fault for not dealing with it and being to soft. Nope. If someone let's off a flare in the concourse, they're a twat.

Nowadays the headmaster would probably get about a ten stretch for child cruelty. Me and a mate were in detention in year 10 after winding up our bellend of a French teacher. He went out for 'a few minutes' and we thought it would be a good idea to let off a stink bomb or 4 under his desk before he came back. The prick was gone 20 minutes and had locked the door (try that one now) so we were stuck in there nearly puking from the stench.
