A generous 1* I stayed until the final whistle but couldn't see anything to get the slightest bit excited about. I saw more passion from a Chic Bates side. Gouranga.

Fuck off/10 We got beaten 3-0 by newly promoted Wigan at home, who aside from factually being shit, actually turned up and played like shit too. Nothing they did was even slightly special, and they put THREE past us and it could have easily been more. Wigan FFS. Terrible team selection; keeping players in the starting XI who have been awful, keeping McClean, Fletcher, Allen on while taking Berahino and Ince off who at least looked a little bit useful. I'd give him a point for bringing Bojan on early (though still 45 minutes too late), but he chose to play him in two different positions, neither being remotely close to his actual position. Despite being chucked on at Left Mid Bojan still showed he was a class above the rest; but would I be even slightly shocked if he was back on the bench on Saturday? No. Shocking management. This , make no mistake Wigan were very very average and they beat us convincingly , once they went one up we were an absolute dream to play against , our first four performance have been nothing short of a disgrace

First 30 mins at least looked promising and was unlucky to get a poor refereeing decision for the second game running but the way we collapsed after they scored exposed how brittle confidence is and how little he has done to solve this key issue. The substitutions and failure to pull Williams before his obvious red card were all baffling.

Kept Berra which I was a little surprised by tbh, but persisted with Fletcher when its clear he's done at any level, the same with Shawcross, we started much better though so he must be getting through to the players somewhere, not a lot he could do after that, forced into the Bojan change and it was game over by then anyway.

On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate that as a very solid “get a grip or get the fuck out”.

2*
Started well and has if we had scored first it probably would have a totally different match, such is the (lack of) confidence of the side. But that's about it.
The nature of the collapse was unacceptable. Basic errors being made by players who should not have started tonight after the last few matches and a midfield pairing that lacks any balance or pace. Bringing Bojan on at half time was the obvious and correct decision, but he should have started through the middle; shoehorning him out wide and the expense of Ince (who I thought was our best player in the first half) was so utterly moronic that I still can't understand the thinking behind it.

Just. Plain. Shite. I've tried so hard to find positives from Rowett in our first three games and understand what he's up against. Tonight there are no extenuating circumstances. At all. If a football manager can't even find a way of making sure we don't get turned over, at home, by a team of donkeys there's just nothing to be said. 1 * if you were there please They weren't a team of donkeys. They were a well organised, fluid team of players knowing exactly what their roles are and being led superbly up front by Powell. Mix of skill, wind up and gamesmanship. Fletcher and Allen. It sounds like an Edwardian comic theatre duo... They chuffing played like one. We were like an old boxer against a young pretender. Couple of good heavy blows early doors but once they jabbed us where it hurts we were finished.

Stuck up for Rowett all window Did my best to see sense in his plans, even when not agreeing, and tried to dissuade others from cycnism on this board. He plays Fletcher again. I've been a f***in idiot. 0/10 Being optimistic isn't your fault, It's his - fair play to you.

1* For getting himself booked - made me laugh Defensively and defensive midfield wise we ended last season with slow pedestrian players that were utterly incapable of competing with bottom half prem teams, so we knew unless there were dramatic changes we were not going to be able to compete with top half of championship teams. We have added a slow 34-year-old to the centre of our defence to go with all the other kerb crawlers and are still persisting with Fletcher in front of the back 4 - and we are struggling for any viable backup for any of our back 5 - utterly bizarre. Please tell me Ince was injured and this is why he went off at halftime - Although I am not sure whether Ince is good or whether he just does the basics correctly like being able to trap and control a ball and play a 2-yard pass(which the rest of the team are incapable of). I tried to be positive after the Preston game, but I just can't see any chinks of light - we could have played until tomorrow and not scored and we will be relegated by xmas if we cannot find a new back 5 and some pace and energy in front of them - defensively we are not good enough at professional football level(any level)

0 Started McClean and Fletcher. Thinks Edwards is ready for first team football. Took Ince off. Left McClean on. Left Williams on. Put Bojan on left wing. Put Bojan on right wing. Took Berahino off.
Once they scored, the team looked like 11 fellas who had met for the first time in the car park half an hour before kick off.
Rowett's tactics are currently making Paul Lambert look like Pep Guardiola.
