Surely this has to be looked at
Is there a complaints or fans procedure to follow?

It was appalling and a complete over reaction I only got hit with the mist from it but it still hurts the police sprayed people who were just asking to leave, I am a first aider and managed to help a couple out who were in serious trouble
But the numbskulls who tried kick the doors open were just as much at fault

The video is on Twitter, won’t let me copy and paste but it’s all there.... So the Lancs Police Force will have difficulty defending the complaint against them?

You’ve gotta love some fans. They come the big almighty, throw ale etc, throw things at police, mouth off go for go at them etc. Yet the police respond and fans start crying. Happened at Leeds and happened at many grounds last season. This new breed of young dickhead are pathetic. Stone island coat on and they think they are the bollocks. First sign of trouble run like fuck and post it on twitter etc they have been badly treated

Bring back the old days I say. What's a Stone Island coat?

So if you find yourself in a situation where a copper is pointing his "gas" at you, what do you do?
Obviously some thick Herberts didn't know the answer .....

Diabolical use of an incapcitant spray. In direct contradiction to the ACPO guidelines on the use of it. Spraying without any concern for who it might affect. I bet you a million pounds no one was offered advice on how to treat themselves once affected (part of ACPO guidelines). It can, in certain circumstances kill someone. I also bet you a million pounds some police sympathisers will be out blaming anyone but them and saying what a good job they do. Biggest gang in the UK. Authorised to carry firearms and weapons that can kill. Protected from criticism. Ridiculous.

Stretch your eyelids as far open as possible by the looks of one or two of them. That said the coppers are itching for it. EDIT - Mate just text me saying kids were suffering big time - very very stupid response from the police. EDIT** reading this thread also shows kids got done by it.*

Typical, it’s the same offenders everytime. Young men with their fancy clobber on. Giving it the big I am. Kicking doors down. As soon as it actually goes off they shit it, then play the victim. Act like a monkey get treated like a monkey, quite simple.

Bring back regular fitness tests for coppers.
Half of the fat fucks are incapable of doing any actual policing these days, the only effort they can muster is to pull out their truncheon, pepper spray or tazer.....

Idiots on both sides by the looks of it, it does seem a bit of an over the top reaction by the police, but surely when you see them shaking the spray you turn and walk away.

Well it’s unfortunate in this circumstance. The police however have a duty to protect the public and themselves and to mantain order.
