Yeah the comments re Crouch are worrying. It won't work. If I was to summarise that Rowett interview it would be 'We're going direct until we have some points on the board and confidence returns'. I'm not sure if direct it will work or not. If you're going to try anything else you'd better be good at it and I'm not sure we are right now. Rowett has lost the plot with that comment. So then Gary, we go direct, start winning games and then you're going to change it again? You clueless twonk.

It smacks of the much repeated Pulis comment in his time at Stoke that we'd play more football if we had more quality, which he was still repeating long after the quality had well and truly arrived.

Yep, and I think that was when and how Sparky cashed in, he gave those players license to play as he knew they could, as well as adding some flair of his own, and for 3 years, for much of the time it worked a treat, we were really cooking!

Something always seems to crop up to demolish us when we’re apparently on the verge of something special. In Waddington’s time it was the stand blowing down. It would be good to know just exactly caused the great implosion of 2016 when the team that gave Man Utd and Man City footballing lessons became the team that let goals in for fun. I don’t suppose we ever will.

Bojan was our best player the first two matches. What does Rowett do? Benches him for a two man midfield of useless Fletcher and Allen the wandering chicken versus Pearson, Gallagher and Burke. There shouldn’t of been the need if Rowett understood the squad. He isn’t going to turn this around. In fact he’s more inept than his previous two successors from three woefully selected lineups filled with tactical crazyness from front to back.

Play Bojan. Just play fucking Bojan. I don't care if he has a game or two where he barely touches the ball, he's like a squizillion times better than any other player we have, apart from maybe Ince who he's only a zillion times better than. Just fucking play him, every game. He will score some goals and create some chances that one or other of the other fucking donkeys might bundle in. Unless we pull two absolutely fucking zinging loan signings out of the bag in the next however many days it is, he's our man. Just fucking play Bojan. That’s a lot of Z’s in a paragraph. We’re not playing scrabble...
