Alexander (2004) - unmitigated shite. Any of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies - each to their own, but not for me. In fact, anything with Johnny Depp in apart from perhaps 'The Legend of Sleepy Hollow'. The Hunger (1983) - tedious, pretentious tripe masquerading as sophistication. Last Tango in Paris (1972) - see The Hunger. Blair Witch Project (1999) - snoozefest. Silence of the Lambs (1991) - Anthony Hopkins hams it up. Brian Cox was so much better. The Land Before Time (1988) - or indeed any of the films with dinosaur character Little Foot in. Anyone on here of a certain age who has kids who are now in their late teens / early 20s will sympathise. It was like eating bags and bags of sugar, and then rubbing sugar into your eyes and ears, and then drinking gallons of maple syrup and then topping it all off with Kendal Mint Cake. Saccharine sweet. Thank god for mass extinctions. I'm amazed to see the last one marked down as a dud on this MB, Leedsy - doesn't this sort of film usually star Raquel Welch in a fur bikini? --- Exactly the sort of thing that usually has the Oatie's lot glued to their screens for the duration (…… + drooling? Naaaaaah - surely not! ) 'Fraid not Murph. It features lots of cartoon dinosaurs talking in a very childish, drawn-out way. Not a bikini clad cave woman in sight, more's the pity.

Quick question, what was the film that had that bloody huge earthworm in the desert causing mayhem. I watched it all the way through but by christ it was terrible. Bunch of folk stranded on a rock in the middle of nowhere. The rest escapes me. Tremors

If it had Sting in wearing a pair of winged underpants, then it's Dune, which was mostly shite.

After much deliberation the winner of "The Worst Film I've Ever Watched" is.....The Hunger Games. Even the wife agreed with me. Is that a film? I thought it was many episodes. In Sweden, especially amongst writers, that one is very popular, the most popular of all actually. I've never seen it. What is it about? Sounds like a cannibal theme, to me. I have friends saying it's the best they've ever seen and that I have to see it! 🤔 Think PC teenager film where the hero is a girl with a bow who's acting skills were lower than that of the bear that stared in the Revenant. (another load of tripe) The Last Air Bender did come close although we only manged to watch 20 mins before turning the crap off. There should be a new cinema category for teenager films like X rated or PG, perhaps PCT (politically correct teenager) warnings should be made clear so they are easy to avoid. Anyway tonight's movie is "The Pride and the Passion" excellent cast and a classic film.

It was ok We have the white throne in our house, the daughter won it in a competition, she thought it was a mini replica, only just fitted in the doors. It's in the spare room with the ironing pile on it.

The Mercy with Colin Firth. Now I like Colin Firth he’s done some great films imo, but this one a true story about a sailor who cheated in round the world yacht race then committed suicide before he crossed the finish line is dreadful. I like feel good films but this one just isn’t despite the storyline being compulsive the film is a very poor adaptation. When I was in the Navy we used to watch reel to reel films at sea. Remember one called Indian Safari Bandits...it was so bad that nobody noticed when the projector operator got the 2nd and 3rd reels mixed up.

"Revolutionary Road"
I just saw that piece of shit. Most likely the worst film I've ever seen!! It's about the Wheelers, Leonardo di Caprio and Kate "Nutcase" Wislet, moving. Then what? Frankly, I dunno. She's a nut and he has a hell. A total waste of my time. 🤮
0/5
I have no idea why some people love this movie. It happens absolutely nothing of importance. An asshole filled with vomit.

Bohemian Rhapsody.....like a TV low budget biopic. We all know why it won an Oscar like so many of the latest themed films.
Almost Famous...utter gash but gets great reviews
Dunkirk....shite

Most films that win or are nominated for academy awards are dog shit Including the revenant Is content now not quality Getting ridiculous. The Bohemian Rhapsody thing was the end of the Oscars for me, been heading that way for a while though. I agree above those Fast and Furious things These spoof Scary Movie films are beyond embarrassing, who watches these? Started watching a thing called The Hustle on a plane last week, Dear Lord what a pile of trash, some unfunny fat woman who made Lenny Henry seem funny ( sllght exaggeration maybe, no-one can do that) I actually think CGI is ruining films oddly.

Arrival, came out in 2016. All my mates seemed to have thought it was okay, but by fucking God what a boring film. Big fuck off alien drop pods/ships have landed on earth, and it requires a linguist and a physicist to assist in finding out what these aliens wants (Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner) Completely bypassing the advice of many scientists in actual real life of not to talk to aliens because it could have disastrous consequences, these two fucking idiots and their team go and try to talk to the aliens, seemingly this must have bypassed the people working on the film. This goes on for 3 days till we find out, oh shit, this weird language they spell in knows what will happen in the future, and it just so happens to know China are going to fuck shit up and nuke everything to destroy the aliens. The linguist manages to speak to the Chinese president and get the attack called off, by reciting words she said to her daughter who was dying. The world is saved, the Aliens go home and the Linguist and Physicist fall in love and more than likely shag for dear life. Wank film. I actually felt pretty moved by the start and end scenes. Although I am one of life's weepers I found it especially tear jerking,

I thought Man of Steel was god awful. It had a great cast and a half decent story line up to the point we had a big fight and somebody just had their neck broken when surely they could have done that 45 minutes earlier.

Avengers Most of the Marvel movies post-2008 Titanic Pretty Woman I would agree on all of them. How can it be right that there are over half a dozen Fast and Furious movies and yet we've never had a sequel to Cobra 🤔🤔
