Their Grandad is a Burnley fan and living where they do, if their friends like a football team, then it is one of Leeds, Bradford or Burnley. You must live in my neck of the woods fella cause they are my 3 local teams. My kids follow Bradford along with their mums side of the family but have a healthy interest in Stoke which is fine with me. Hopefully they'll attend some away games with me this seasons You are 15-20 mins from me. My eldest is in the bradford academy |

To be honest, quite like to see Bradford do well and take in a couple of games a season. I know someone who's son was in their academy and he had nothing but good things to say about it. My six year old twins don't want to wear their stoke tops for the weekly game . Since relegation one now tells me he supports Barcelona the other is Chelsea There are adults on here, very similar, acting like kids, and dummies out of prams too. |

Whilst I totally agree with the ruining weekends bit ( Stoke and hangovers are now similar for me, the older I get the longer it takes for me to get over the weekends pain )-:
We live near Alderley edge and it seems all the kids at school support one of the Manchester clubs,so to twist the knife in my nine year old supports Manure!
Virtually every Saturday for far too long he will ask the Stoke score then proceed to laugh at me! (must admit I'm quite proud of his piss taking skills at such a tender age)

Fans and players need to be positive starting on Saturday v Brentford
Most fans hoping for more action today, especially re outgoings, looks like we need to make the very most of the loan situation

We really are toss aren't we. Not content with ruining my weekends for the best part of 35 years, we are now so wank that my eldest son, deep down prefers Burnley to Stoke. I've just got home from work and he's greeted me in his Burnley tracksuit bottoms and a new Burnley home shirt. Just when I think things can't get any worse, my youngest, who I was convinced was Stoke City and Stoke City only, comes downstairs in last seasons Burnley away kit with Walters on the back of it. Not only that, but since Sunday all I've heard via Alexa is "marching on together" and him shouting "Leeds, Leeds, Leeds" at the top of his voice. This bunch of tossers are taking my loathing of them to whole new levels right now!  Ring social services and get them fucked off. And if your lady bought the Burnley gear,fuck her off aswell. I think I have drilled into my lad the 'one club for life mentality', but like all of us he is devastated.... and is now wearing his Newcastle Jets (Australia) strip to training.
His coach asked him what happened to Stoke and he said 'they never should have sacked Tony Pulis'. And he's 10..... I don't think his coach knew who Tony Pulis was.
