I’m not sure all those hundreds of school kids excited by seeing their idols play and then get their autographs would be pleased with watching live litter picking to be honest.... I'd have preferred to watch live litter picking than that utter load of shit I endured at Elland Rd on Sunday. How would the scoring system work?

Was great to see the fans meeting the players. Just need the players to introduce themselves to one another now. brilliant

Easy to be critical all the time but today was fantastic. All the players were great and my two lads were thrilled to have autographs and pics with them.
Club need credit where due. Of course it could have been a bit smoother but nothing is ever perfect. Bojan for one told a member of staff to go and find a kid who was upset that he'd missed signing his shirt to make sure he did.
Jack took an age to accommodate every single request and of course there was the always brilliant Crouchie.
Sometimes regardless of the results on the pitch we should remember that these guys are still people and they play for the club I love and so I want to feel connected to them.
Found today really uplifting.
(Ps Also great to get the chance to clap Rory again)

I'm told Jack Butland was great with the kids and even took a selfie with my son. Well done stoke and Jack 👍

Well how was your evening?
I was sat down and forced to 'read' every squiggle in my lads book 20 times whilst he told me whose they were and what they were like, and that was before me tea.
He's now asleep in bed in his Stoke kit clutching his autograph book.
I think he enjoyed it.

I have wondered why they didn't do this seasons ago, this is the best way to show kids who aspire to be like their idols what it's like to be a footballer. Thank God the football team and club have got a pr exercise right for once.

presume a lads and dads eleven who'd never even seen each other before today took them on behind closed doors and beat the first team two nil ?
par for the course at least

Great to see the players close up and a reminder that even the ones who look rubbish on match day are wonderfully gifted compared to us mere mortals.
But fuck me Charlie Adam looked old and out of shape.

One thing about it that did piss me off was the tannoy system (surprise, surprise). I couldn't make out a word that either the interviewer or the player being interviewed were saying, don't know about anyone else but my lad and my sister had the same problem.
Which sort of renders the whole process a bit pointless.
I know next to bugger all about tannoy systems but can it really be that tough to get one that works? Other clubs seem to manage ok.

Saido looked sharp and worked harder than most. Fletcher pulled up after about 20 mins and left but did return for signatures. Imbula wasn't there along with Benik and Max. Excellent idea and good to watch the players train and see who puts the hard work in. The autographs are probably impossible to do so that everyone gets one, players tried their best but if you weren't at the front then it was a struggle. Players were happy to sign at the carpark after tho, Tom Ince in particular seemed like a thorougly decent guy as did McLean. Roll on Saturday 👍 I already really like McClean I really loathe Ronaldo but I think he´d be a great signing.

I have had to cool down after the weekends offering. What a great PR exercise this was. I think in weeks to come no more 1 hour training sessions. The whole hour though was high intensity and pressing. If we showed this for an hour why could we not do this on game day? We didn't press and we didn't shift the ball quick enough to beat there press. I came away on Tuesday quite surprised at the intensity but did say it wasn't long enough. I came away from Saturday embarrassed. Best man at training was Sorenson. I like the look of this kid.
