Because it bloody well was in the ground. No real positives only that it surely can only get better? Leeds looked very very good and seeing their system live was interesting. If they can keep that up they’ll be very strong. If Leeds can keep that kind of intensity up for another 45 games i’d be very surprised. I predict they’ll be in the top 3 come the new year but will fizzle out and finish mid-table. Well one thing is for sure, we know we can keep our intensity. We have played like that for the last two bloody seasons

Last season Man City pissed all over us when they won 7-2. They had the likes of Sane, Aguero and DeBruyne. This season Leeds pissed all over us, thank fuck they didn't have the likes of Sane......

Probably worse, since there are replays on tv.

Got it recorded if you're feeling brave. Even the dogs hid behind the sofa.
Only good run from a man in a Stoke shirt came at half time when I made a dash upstairs for a piss.

It was worrying and depressing how similar it was to last season, but Leeds clicked today. I don't think the most optimistic Leeds fan would've predicted they'd come out like that. I can't see them keeping it up all season, and I still back us to finish above them. I haven't seen so many players getting cramp inside 90 minutes, and something seems like it'll go wrong there. Bielsa will have worked a miracle if they turn from bottom-half into automatic promotion.
Leeds' left side were excellent and Ince and Bauer will get a lot more joy in future. McClean looked our best player - he would've been useful last season.
Our season won't be judged on one game.
Saying that, I am worried about the confidence of the squad if we don't win in the next couple. Another tough game next week!

Left my bird at a sunny park where we were enjoying an open summer bar with sangrias and beers to go alone to the pub and watch the game.
Worst decision ever.

Pathetic. One of the most disappointing opening day performances I've ever seen, genuinely. It was men v boys. Exasperated by the fact that Rowett seems to see the completely inept Fletcher as some sort of saviour when absolutely NOTHING he has done pre season warrants that viewpoint. We actually looked better in midfield when he came on though. Not saying he’s the answer because he isn’t. But the fact that we started with a midfield that many pundits were calling the best in the league and they performed so abysmally is very worrying.

Absolutely shit. Made all the more shit by the fact we're no longer called Stoke City - we're "league favourites Stoke City".
I've had a text off every other none premier league club supporting person I know saying "and you thought you were going to walk the league" - which obviously isn't the case - the bookies made us favourites - NOT ME!!!

I agree, we did look better when he came on, problem is it's a few minutes reasonable quality that comes with a great deal of shite. We have huge problems in midfield but he's not the answer, as you say, not based on his form since his first few games anyway. It just worries me that Rowett doesn't see it that way.

I agree we were poor, but nobody is giving Leeds any credit either. They could have beaten a top 6 club yesterday the way they were playing. Every god damn cross, flick on, forward pass, etc was spot on the first 60'
