Wouldn't necessarily put him in the 'weirdo' category, but he's certainly different, anyone spotted the headphoned white haired cyclist with the bucket of crayons, him that does the etchings, recently? Seemed to quietly get on with documenting the various nooks and crannies of the City. Don't suppose he'll be doing much cycling, just wondered if anyone new of him. I've got one of his pencilled {photocopied} Mow Cop, don't think he ever signed them. His work would make a worthy exhibition. On this note RIP the wordy wanderer TVP. RIP indeed. I was in the London Road Ale House the day of his passing. I had a clip of the great man at the mic on my phone. As you do. I bluetoothed it over to the bar manager and he stuck it on the Ale House Facebook page apparently (I'm not on FB). One of a kind who'll be sadly missed.

There used to be 'Mad Norman' in Oakhill. Totally batshit insane, once washed his dog in a washing machine, in the launderette opposite The Oak Tree pub, and when the woman who supervised the place realised what he'd done and pulled the soggy mutt from the machine the poor thing ran straight into the road and under a car. He used to live along London Road near to Shepherd Street. A member of the Boswell family. Wore glasses. Used to see him walk past our school (Boothen Junior school) 1970s That's the chap. He used to live in one of those group of about 12 terraced houses next to my old scout hut and opposite the working men's club, now Jollees.

If you want to see a few weirdos, try shopping at Morrisons....It seems to attract them by the dozen, and not even Aldi and Lidl can compete.
Strange but true...

Anyone seen the bearded woman of whiston lately? Not seen her for years! Somebody my Mrs used to work with said her husband had given her a lift in his van. When she got out she'd shat all over the seat🤢

There's the fat bloke with greasy long hair and a big cream trench coat who's always around Newcastle. Regularly see him in the library or in various cafes.

Has anyone else spotted that bloke on the night bus from Hanley to Tunstall, usually the 11.30pm run? Wavey brown hair, glasses, striped Primani jumper with tight jeggings and the lace up boots 80s wrestlers used to wear? He's usually got two shopping bags on the go. I am not allowed out without a fluorescent jacket aft 9 pm dude so I wouldn't know! Lol!

Also the fast walker bloke of Meir. Every day walking along waterhead road\ Sandon. He walks about 50 laps of Meir at a frantic pace 7 days a week. Like clock work. He must have ocd I remember seeing a man fast walking down Anchor Road every day, around dinner time, about 5+ years ago. He was small, about 60 and had this extra large holdall that looked like it had house bricks in. He might still be doing it. Not sure if this was the same fella? Always wondered what he was up to.

Was that the guy with huge grey eyebrows? Me and a guy from work used to see him regularly and christened him 'the running man' although yes, fast walking is probably a more accurate description.

I've not seen the bloke in the kilt for awhile. About 60 and with straggly, longish grey hair? If so then I saw him up Newcastle on Monday morning. Amazing just how many of these people mentioned I've actually seen about. Pretty sure this guys name is John and he used to live in Silverdale back when when I did. He used to look like Jesus but bears more resemblance to a cross between John Peel and Kenneth McKellar these days

He has been around for years. I often see him around Werrington and he's always polite/respectful if you speak to him. I was told (not sure if true) that he lost his son in a car crash and now refuses to use transport of any kind, hence always walking. He was involved in a very serious car accident many moons ago thrown through the windscreen and very badly injured, his brothers son was killed in a car accident I know his name but won't put it on here, he's a really nice harmless bloke from a lovely family. I regularly see him operating on Bagnall Bank, after many years of seeing him on Ash Bank just about every day. Always walking at high speed and carrying a bag of bread, I've only ever seen him going uphill

Yes that's him. He had a constant look of pain on his face. Reminded me of the actor Phil Davis.

In the late 80s / early 90s i remember old Alice who use to go round the town centre pubs in Longton getting the dregs of people's pints to get pissed up. Many times saw her in the pubs near steeles arcade looking worse for wear.

One used to live by me in Clayton when I was younger he used to try and make kids help him do his paper round(he was about 40 odd).
It was all fun and games until he tried to shoot a kid with an air rifle - fucking nutter.
