He played mainly on the left wing. God bless club politics.

Was a decent day out until 3 cunts at the back of the stand decided to shower everyone including kids in beer after Crouch’s goal.
We really do have some knuckleheads for supporters unfortunately.

I had the misfortune to be at Stafford station this morning when several knuckle draggers complete with cans of carling thought it ok to get on the train to Birmingham New Street Train using every swear word infront of my children - luckily they hadn't got a clue which platform was a or b - scumbags - They were obviously on the way to the match!!

Sounds like the stoke boss has indicated we might loan them a central defender and said if we can do anything and that fostering a link with them would be good for both clubs.
Also said he would take a 5-0 loss rather than their player getting so injured, sounds a decent bloke

Everton winning 22-0. We really need to step it up.... Don't get too carried away with this as they're only playing against one bloke from Anglia Television!

We’ve played in Irdning a few times during the Pulis era. Went there for each of the games. To be fair there’s literally about 12 buildings in the whole village so how the fuck they muster a football team I’ll never know. What a setting for football though in the Austrian alps!! Stick to skiing lads, as I’m sure we told them then too.

There is no way on earth they had 900 fans there. I was thinking that exact same thing.. They must of had no more than 300 in the lower tier of the stand opposite us & lucky if there was 200 in the main stand.. Most of the seats in the main stand were taken up by squad members & press!

A win of that scale against clearly well substandard opposition doesn't really serve as a great pre season friendly in terms of assessing your squad or gauging where it's at. Yeah sure it's nice for players confidence to keep putting the ball in the net but after a while when it's clearly men v boys in terms of ability, the benefits of such a victory quickly get diluted.. Really hope & can see Marko Silva struggling at Goodison Park. He's vastly bigged up but hasnt done anything outstanding to suggest he's going to bring them any glory..

How did Souttar, our Scottish Giant hope, play?

How did Souttar, our Scottish Giant hope, play? Cant speak for everyone else, but he really impressed me. Absolutely solid at the back, not afraid to get his head on it. Calm on the ball and can pick out the right passes...Reminds me a little bit of Huth actually. Would be very surprised if we didnt see him knocking on the door of the first team this season.

Interesting that practically every outfield player ran to congratulate Afellay when he scored.

I hope we've got some friendlies booked against teams with a half decent keeper. The first two there, and the goals against Macclesfield - there was some really poor goalkeeping on show. Better get used to that camera angle too, a big favourite in the Championship. QPR are bad for it!
