Chayze a la toast with HP fruity. And tomorrow skinheads on a raft. Hmmm....... the latter's a new one - is it chickpeas or haricot beans or butterbeans on something???? Or are they anything like ants on a log???!!! (The favourite snack of Ronald Reagan! ) Skinheads on a raft = beans on toast Ants on a log not for me as I'm not a fan of celery.

To-nite it will be..............Pasta Puttanesca. A little something from the Loire to go with that. I'd suggest Chinon. Raspberries through and through. Very underestimated region.

I can see where you're coming from with that but if you put the Chinon in the fridge for half an hour before opening you'll be surprised how good it is. It took a trip to the town and an underground cellar visit that convinced me. That and three years at college studying the stuff. Vouvray and Touraine are nice as well. 😊👌

Total nutter you had to cling on to anything that was nailed down and keep your fingers crossed.

Total nutter you had to cling on to anything that was nailed down and keep your fingers crossed. When we got back to the hotel he met a car coming out, both not quiet to one side of the entrance road, they just stayed facing each other, when the car eventually backed up slightly and started to pass each other, it was windows down and full on shouting and gesturing at each other.

We recently got a transfer from the Sorrento area to Naples airport. The vehicle was a SUV with seven of us crammed in and we were shoehorned in on the back row. The traffic through Sorrento was horrendous as usual, and after we then had got through the seemingly never ending tunnels, in order to make up lost time the driver spent the rest of the journey doing about 140 kmh (about 90 mph) weaving from lane to lane and without braking at all. Oh, and he was on his mobile most of the time as well !
We were all very relieved to arrive at the airport in one piece.

All yap, but no bite. I'm sure an anthropologist could explain it but I just don't understand their mentality...
