I wouldn't wipe my arse with the daily mail. It'd make your anus racist if you did. Precisely. Plus I bet the bits of turd wouldn't want to go anywhere near it.

It's part of a campaign of several years standing to have a go at Sterling for anything and everything from one specific paper though, isn't it? There must be some personal grudge motivating it from an individual at that paper. It's all a bit pathetic. I actually think Sterling comes across as a decent bloke. In Micah Richards documentary on race in British Football he showed the way a certain newspaper reported.

Footballers are not very intelligent. Nor should they EVER be relied upon for moral guidance. I’m sure at some point he will get involved in a campaign of outrage against violence within black communities. Thick as fuck. #blm

Maybe it's just me, but it seems that Sterling attracts a disproportionate amount of flak from supporters compared to other players. Maybe that's just because great things are expected of him; Shearer, Rooney and Beckham all attracted excessive criticism. However, he was also made the scapegoat for the 2014 disaster.
On some level, I don't think we should underestimate the fact that he decided Liverpool were too small for his ambitions
On the other hand, Sterling's treatment by The Sun seems to have made the rest of the press very reluctant to criticise him at all. There's a marked contrast between the rubbishing of Sterling that you would read on here before the tournament and the fawning coverage elsewhere.

Hopefully he stays fit and breaks Shilton’s record.

In terms of the lowest of the low you’ve got: - Rapists - Paedos -Journailsts. That gap is far too big.

Me too on being confused by that post. It's also worth pointing out that Sterling has spoken out about, and acted as a figurehead in campaigns to address knife crime.
