Glad to hear there has been some rain in Congie. Will have watered the garden. I'm into the 3rd week of my fishing trip to Ireland. Traffic OK here in County Kerry. Ah, the magical Ring
I remember driving to a cottage on a farm there many years ago. We turned off the main road onto a country lane and were surprised that people were waving at us, at first thinking the car was similar to one of the locals then realising the natives were friendly. When we pulled onto the farm I swear the chickens and the sheepdog were smiling mm
Chickens are more cynical now. They will try and sell the Americans some genuine Irish eggs or feathers. Kerry is crawling with Americans looking for their roots. As I type this I am listening to a couple of yanks arguing very loudly next door. Talk about big hat no cattle. However as Charlie Chaplin learnt from Walt Disney the fishing around here is the best.
