There is definitely a resurgence of this, local and nationwide. Something on the Sentinel website about a man attacked with an axe and suffered a serious wound. Stoke Town I think? Very probably turn out to be drugs related. What's up with folks, can't they be happy with a quiet pint?!

Jesus, the chap who kicked that guy in the head while he was down wants locking up. Disgusting. Should be attempted murder. Animal. Trial in May supposedly having a quick look at google. Scum.

It's no wonder parents are terrified when their kids go out even to the park, or especially up Town at the weekend. I mean fucking hell, I'm 22 and I get the stay safe spiel from the mother still on the odd occasion I go up Hanley for a few drinks Not that I blame them though, as it feels like with each passing year, it just gets worse out there. And this Monkey Dust epidemic doesn't help either when it's only a £1 a pack. Regarding the axe story, it's lunacy. Slowly the days of being able to go out and just relax and enjoy yourself are evaporating.

Haha, twice a year is the absolute limit for me usually, I hate it up there! Quite honestly, the best part is just going Chili Jacks after a few and gorging out on deep fried filthy food

There's nothing to hesitate about anymore, especially when you're getting older or are young but carrying an injury; get a gun to protect yourself.
I wouldn't hesitate to use it.

There were a few around in the 60s but you couldn't really call them gangs. The Joker mob. Cheadle Cowboys. I remember clubbing in the early seventies, there were 2 gangs around at the time or families to be more accurate. The franklins who were of West Indian origin and the garsides . If either of them were in The Place , Placemate , Steam machine . Keep your distance and don't even think about looking at their very nice birds the kept in tow . Kev Franklin still gets up Hanley.

Every time I see her I get the "Have you stopped running yet?"

I worked with one of the Franklin's once and honestly, she was a decent a lass as you could ever meet!!

I don't know about local gangs, but the Vatican City Casuals are getting noticed across Europe. Here's some of their top lads in Krakow for a pre-arranged 'meet' with Wisla's firm:

The Law today is a fucking joke, calling someone a Muslim Cunt on Twitter,is taken more seriously than kicking a White man's head in. it's been like that for a while, some years ago there was apparently a real problem with Cauldon college students, principally young white lads being beaten up by the Asian lads. It was a regular thing but strangely enough it never made the papers. Now then, could you imagine if the reverse had happened and young Asians were being assaulted by their white counterparts on a regular basis......

Nowadays, I'm afraid it is. I dread to think of the consequences if I openly said, "I don't agree with the teachings of the Qur'an" at my workplace. I work at a university.
