Forget stupid football hatred and silly banter
Alex Ferguson is a football legend / icon who deserves respect at what he acheived in the game.
Pull Through Fergie

All the best Sir Alex.
After hearing the news a few minutes ago I am struggling a bit.
I had a brain haemorrhage, a stroke, two years ago. I am just knowing the absolutely shit they will all be going through. The shit I am now remembering has just knocked the shit from the result away.
All the best SAF, and I hope.

Get well soon Sir Alex.
I will tell you all this. When every single fan, manager and player had no idea how to cope with Stoke City 2008-2013, this man knew exactly how to cope with us!! Regrettably!
A true legend.
I hate Man Utd but god I love this bloke.
The envy of every true football fan.

He was narky, held grudges like no others, tried to control referees (successfully generally), and was a major pain in the arse to all other teams (and any players in his side who became billy big-bollocks) Hated and loved at the same time but respected by nigh on 100% (scouse cnuts apart) - hope he pulls through as very few in the game really deserve to be called a legend Expected the inevitable this weekend but it still hurt. This is a more painful shock to the system

All credit to Wayne Rooney for visiting Sir Alex Ferguson in Salford hospital today.
"His speech his improving and he can now almost string a sentence together" said Sir Alex this evening.

There was a report what said when he regained consciousness the first thing he asked was how Doncaster had gone on. I know that fits the narrative but do you think that might be bollox?
