It's, 'this is the way we play and if you don’t abide by that there’s no point in playing'. It’s the same as myself.” Fucking hell Lambert. That is Pulis-level bollocks with a mother fucking egg on top. We're getting back to being a footballing backwater. Just as Stoke fans like it. Speak for yourself

OP's title is about 100% misleading Not really. Even if we can't terminate him he wont be in a squad or by the sounds of it at the training ground again so in those terms he is 'officially finished' here. Whether we have to continue to pay the bastard seems to be the only issue.

About Toxic looking at players' character. He's signed, as have most managers, total dickheads in his time.

I agree totally. My thoughts contrary to the OP headline of “Jese is officially f8nished here” is did he actually start? It would certainly be interesting to understand the facts behind his recruitment. To think that characters like Walters/Whelan etc were pillared by posters on here is mind numbing

One thing that Pulis was very good at was looking at a players character before bringing them. The writing was on the wall re Jesé with his rap career and other distractions. It was clear he had a questionable attitude. Footballs full of players who’ve wasted there careers because they can’t be arsed to turn up. We’ve signed 3 of them. Utter bollocks. Fair enough. Apologies for having an opinion.

Fair enough. Apologies for having an opinion. For the future. Please be reminded that you are not entitled to air an opinion or make rationale comment if there is a direct conflict with that of a single minded agenda driven individual. Especially in relation to a former successful employee who ceased to be employed by SCFC almost five years ago.

To think that characters like Walters/Whelan etc were pillared by posters on here is mind numbing Both were great servants and brilliant professionals I think the only problem we had was they were kept too long and had lost the level of mobility they had towards the end. The fact they hadnt been adequately replaced by the manager was the issue and because of this they got a lot of unfair flack.

Seriously ? It makes no difference who brought him in....along with Berahino and Wimmer professional pride should override everything He’s been looked after re his his personal problems and he’s abused it...That’s not the fault of Mark Hughes One thing that Pulis was very good at was looking at a players character before bringing them. The interpretation I put on it was that he was comparing Burnley's work ethic with Stoke's current predicament,...... We don't need anyone Jesé types.

Good riddance Jesé!!!

Good riddance. It's just a pity we didn't get rid of him much earlier.
It will be interesting to see which club he fleetingly graces with presence next. No doubt "earning" an obscene amount of money for doing sod all once again.

We Should of had written in to his contract that he must be match fit within 3 months. Again weve let another player hang on. Jese should of gone in January and a replacement found. How exactly would you envisage that working, what would be your definition of "match fit" and how would you measure this in an objective tangible way?

Praising the opposition - Tick Highlighting nationality - Tick Running down the players he is charge of - Tick Somehow comparing himself to Dyche - I don't recall Pulis being quite so unaware

Never mind Rodriguez contract, the lawyers should be looking at Berahino’s contract, as he has 4 years, not 4 weeks.

How exactly would you envisage that working, what would be your definition of "match fit" and how would you measure this in an objective tangible way? Able to play for 90 mins. All pro footballers should be healthy fit/in good shape. Match fitness comes from playing matches in training, on match day and playing games with the academy. What does able to play mean contractually? I might think he's "able to play", you might not, Jesé mightn't care

Hopefully, one of the lessons from this season will be a change to the wording of our future loan and other contracts (and no I haven"t seen one). The addition of some sort of if you can't be arsed to stay fit ... turn up on time (or at all) ... or try - then you don't get paid clause. Followed by being sued for the money we paid you/your agent.
It probably can't happen but its a nice thought.
