Obviously a finger in the air type question but what’s your gut instinct on how we will go on next season? (assuming the miracle doesnt happen and we survive).
Gut instinct. We’d be ‘challenging’ for promotion places 1-6

That would be nice but can only see mid table mediocrity at best whilst we rebuild.
I fear we could do a Sunderland more than a top 6 challenge. Depends who stays and who goes I guess.
Basically I don't have a scooby doo is what i'm really saying.

I see us being between 8-12th spots: a flutter with the play-off places, but ultimately a year of rebuilding as we develop a squad that could hopefully mount a serious promotion challenge the year after.

I think with a good transfer window and close season , we will finish around 12th , I think we will beat a few of the big boys , so 12th in his first full season in the premier for lambo will be great

If we stick with Lambert I see us finishing somewhere 9th to 12th, if its another has been manager I see us finishing 12th to 16th. If it's an up and coming manager it's hard to predict - could be either of the above or you never know we might fly the league.

It mostly depends on what resources the board put back into the team after the fire sale of our better players. If they are replaced with freebies and loans it will end in tears again. If they grab the bull by the horns and start as they mean to go on we could be a strong force if we are able to bring in some quality signings.

10th to 14th - I think we will struggle out of the blocks and will be looking nervously over our shoulder until after Christmas - I think we will start to find our feet over the second half of the season and finish strongly - too late to really challenge for the top 6 but will be a good stepping stone for pushing back towards promotion in 2019-20.

Been listening to the league football programme this afternoon and just hearing some of the names and how they are struggling. Sunderland look like back to back relegations. Then you consider not so long ago teams like Blackburn, Bolton, Wigan. What makes anyone think we will do anything other than struggle? The board have demonstrated their ambition by spending fuck all by Premier League standards and appointing a sub standard manager. I have zero confidence that we will do anything other than be in another relegation scrap.

Without knowing what players/manager will be at the club it's impossible to say.

We’re nowhere near that off the pitch.....

Could be anything. However the average position of sides who have come down is 8th.
So will go with that.

We're not going down. End of. It would be more fun to say assuming we get new Trillionaire owners, what changes would you like to see happen?

We will be challenging for promotion if we don't lose too many players.
Lose Butland,Shaqiri and Joe Allen definitely but after that I wouldn't be surprised to see anyone else still here when the championship season kicks off.

We are totally rotten right the way through. We will sink like the Argentine battleship the General Belgrano. With a mass exodus on the cards we will be left with all the dregs and past its that no body wants.
Those in charge of recruitment have got to get their act together and become a lot more shrewd in the choice of players and backroom staff, or they should leave and get in a whole new Management team. If not we will be in division one soon. None of the present players have got any fire in their bellies. The championship and division one are very tough leagues and we are in for a huge culture shock both on and off the field.

We have to stay up at all costs because it’s much easier to avoid relegation from the Premier League than it is to get back up. Just about every team in the Championship was in the Premier League (or the old First Division) at one time or another and several have more resources than we do.

She’s usually right! I know the feeling. Man to St Peter at the pearly gate: “There must be some mistake, I don’t feel that old.” St. Peter: “we don’t go by the years you’ve lived, we go by the time you charged to your clients”
