No chance - we've been gone for weeks, today as good as confirmed it.
The sooner the season ends the better. I'm just so angry with the club right now as this has all been self inflicted and Coates's now infamous "I don't know what all the fuss is about" will be remembered for generations.
As had been said it's the hope that kills you, but that hope has been fading for months and IMO has finally been extinguished today.
We're an absolute shambles on and off the pitch.

39 points could be enough to stay up. After today I can't see us staying up sadly. This was a proper gutter of a result, and we've bottled too many key games this year. I fear the Palace and Swansea games could mean nothing by the time they come around. This has been a stinker of a season. Some of our players and others who work at the club have let themselves and the wonderful fans of Stoke City down this term. Going down will hurt us badly. Sad times

We have no means of scoring goals. All thats happened under Lambert is we are not getting thrashed anymore. But it’s insufficient improvement so far.
He’s demonstrated he has no attacking nous, only defensive. He also cannot solve problems that arise in games tactically. I am disappointed he is equal or worse than LMH for subs.
We have wasted £50 million on 3 shit players. We have sold our two most effective strikers (Snake & SJW) had nasty injuries to key players (Ryan, Bojan & Jack) And inadequately addressed/solved these issues.
It all adds up to needing a huge miracle, which I hope Southampton and Huddersfield will oblige. I live in hope...

I'm not sure that Lambert has "no attacking nous", more like no personnel that can actually score a goal. It takes a very long time before I decide that a player is absolutely shite, but after a few years I have come to the conclusion that Diouf is shite. I've suspected it for years. Shame really because he looks such a nice bloke, and obviously gives us everything that he has got physically. If only Imbula had worked out. He was a fantastic signing. Great player. What on earth happened? I suspect that we will never know, or maybe he simply is a lazy twat. Berahino - another talented player that didn't come good. No one can deny his ability, just seems such a pity that he chooses not to use it. Maybe he could be the "miracle? I doubt it, but live in hope. Wimmer? Well, nothing much to say about that other than who the hell thought he was ever any good? I've been supporting since the late 1960's and to be honest, our club has often lacked good strikers. Obviously we have had a few good ones over those years, but for far too many years, attack has been our weakness.
