o Thought I'd need my tin hat but went for it anyway - IF he had a full choice of fit players my mark would be more like 4 but what I felt like I was watching was a lash-up, with a player not sufficiently fit any more starting when he shouldn't have, then got sent off, after that we had a decent go at keeping it tight - we just weren't a good enough football team and that's not all Lambo's fault. Plus, I guess, I'm rating him as Paul Lambert not Fergie but there are only so many ways to say oh well, he's doing his best I'm on the red thanks after this aft and plenty of it, also found a box of chocs I forgot I hadn't eaten! In about two more hours I might get warm again... Nice one. A night to get pissed Doesn't really matter what we give him though does it Old Man Coates thinks he's a Perfect 10 If he took any notice of us he'd have ditched Hughes after the last game of last season when we gave him a 0 by voting with our feet. But he didn't which shows he's either too arrogant to see what we think or too arrogant to care. Either way he's an arrogant stubborn old fool fiddling while Rome burns. Standing on Blackpool beach in his welly's shouting at the waves springs too mind, he's lost his marbles and any respect he had for his achievements in his second coming, I still remember his first attempt

He started at 5
-1 for dropping Bauer -1 for dropping indi -1 for playing Adam -1 for dropping Jesé (who I thought did ok against Man City) -1 for playing crouch + for playing Ramadan and dropping Choupo + team seemed to work hard
-5 for saying he knew the strengths and weaknesses of the team when he clearly didn’t, clueless fucking idiot.
Think that about covers it.

I was prepared to give Lambert a good go at it and I thought he had steadied the shit tank left by Hughes but when I saw that team sheet today my head was in my hands. Everton were there for the taking, the choice of Adam was a colossal fuck up, a marked man with a reckless attitude playing in those conditions? A big fat minus infinity for me. He has got to go.

Begrudgingly as well, for not playing Fletcher.

I'm sure he's a nice guy but only two words can describe the result today: complete incompetence.

1* Playing Crouch up front by himself. Tactical masterstroke as it's worked so well before Starting with Adam from the start. Accident waiting to happen. Starting with Johnson from the start. We have Edwards and Bauer for God's sake. Daring to put Fletcher on the bench. The 1 is for resisting the urge to put Fletcher on at any point. We are well and truly fooked.

Agreed. I was totally thrown and confused. The only change I would have made was Ramadan for Choup (despite Choup scoring). No Bauer? No Indi?? No G-Cam? Replace Bauer with Johnson FFS COME ON!! FIVE CHANGES - Its almost desperation. Well it is desperation now.

Glen fucking Johnson. Peter crouch. Great servant, great guy but up top on his own being asked to a job he can't.
Shit management. The backroom team are league 2 at best.

4 - the performance was decent for long spells, but why did he start with Johnson and Adam? I think that's about it, barring an absolute miracle - we are goners.

0. After Adam's one man suicide mission in recent weeks with his penalty miss and dreadful rebound 'charge' and suicidal cameo away at Leicester he should have been nowhere near the squad never mind the starting line up. Instead he started a known hot head who referees are targeting in a match that was forecast well in advance would have a slippy pitch perfect for red cards. The risks should have been screaming at him and it wasn't remotely worth taking.
Anyone could see it coming and so the blame lies squarely with the manager.

5, we looked okay for the first 15 or so, forced to play Adam due to injury, messing with the back four was ridiculous, not much more he could do after the red card really although I would have taken Crouch off personally.

We really did play better as a team, the work Lambo's been putting in is visible - but it hasn't made us winners and in all honesty today was the last game that wasn't too late for that. Barring miracles, which obviously we keep on shouting for, we're deservedly going down - and in that state of mind, plus Charlie's disaster, really not easy for me to get the right perspective to rate Lambo's management on the day. I just don't know how many options he had, fitness wise, about the starting XI - but assuming his hand was as badly forced as I think it was: 7* from me * if you were there please Is that out of 100 Sal???

Why did he make that team selection? He could have named that on Monday (to a game that was probably a write-off anyway), and Monday's team for yesterday.
I am completely at a loss, and cannot bring myself to score it.
Those on the pitch (and those who stayed on the pitch) showed endeavour, but if that was the best team he could put on the park then I will eat me hat.
Devastated

Those over-the-top touchline goal celebrations against Huddersfield were mildly charming at the time, but with hindsight they were the behaviour of a Tim Sherwood character.

4.5 - I'd like to think he was going to switch up charlie for berahino, I'd like to think there was a gameplan involving attacking subs.
+points for Sohbi.
- I was pleasantly surprised by Glen Johnson's performance apart from getting absolutely skinned by bolasie.
- Charlie was OK until his sending off, which after rewatching shoudlve been a yellow.
- Berahino looked much more sharp and I'd be tempted to start him WITH crouch next game.
However, it was clear we were relying on long ball to crouch. How are we still at this point...
Relegation looms.

2 from me. Although Johnson didn't play too badly, I just can't understand why he would mess with a defence that was proving to be his strongest asset. As for playing Adam - the walking liability - as soon as we heard in the car on the way to the ground that he was playing, there was a collective groan and our heads went down. Lambert has done some good things while he's been here, but yesterday undid most of what he's done. His team selection was almost Pulisesque. OS.

7- we were the better side, admittedly against the worst Everton side I've seen. Charlie's reputation did us no favours, but apart from the dropping of Bauer, there isn't any real alternative in the unbalanced squad he has inherited,

It's amazing what a bit of hoofball brings to some peoples' ratings.
