We'll be lucky to get to 32 points Agreed, Lambert is a very poor manager. In what parallel universe did he think today's team was the 11 to beat a hopeless Everton. Shocking management I agree TCM. Up to today I was prepared to cut Lambert a lot of slack. He'd a difficult task trying to get our bunch of misfits to play like a team and I hoped he'd nudge us in the right direction; but today's team selection was fuckwittery of the highest order.

I know what your saying but it’s not over yet With our goal difference we are effectively 4 points adrift now and have Arsenal away and Spurs the next 2 games I really am gutted and wish it was different but we are down I will share something with everyone when my son was 11 and diagnosed with cancer they gave him 30% chance of life , he’s now 6ft 4 strapping 27 year old and cancer free , so while there’s still points to play for we ain’t down yet

To pick Johnson ahead of Bauer is close to a criminal act! I said after Charlie's substitution at Leicester that he shouldn't play again as he isn't fit for it. Today he recieved a very hash red card, but why go into the tackle like that!? Their first goal was also offside and on top of it Johnson lost his man for their second. This was our most important game, why no Bauer and is Cameron injured!?

Newcastle is a must win. (loss) Watford is a must win. (0-0) Bournemouth is a must win. (loss) Brighton is a must win. (1-1) Leicester is a must win (1-1) Southampton is a must win (0-0) Everton is a must win. West ham will probably be a must win. Burnley will be a must win. Palace will be a must win. Swansea will probably be a must win. Had a few this season eh? Some of those were banded "our biggest game in 10 years". Dear oh dear. This squad is a fucking disgrace.

The man we should have appointed sends us down with two goals by. A forward he wouldn’t have been allowed to sign , fate can be cruel .
Time for the slaughter to begin , Peter you need to step up now admit our mistakes and go for it , your the only one in the boardroom with real football insight sad but true you have some harsh decisions to make in no Great order but immediately
1 Scholes Cartwright and the whol transfer team have to go now tomorrow .We need to find a true off the field visionary and leader as ceo . 2 Young John has demonstrated he isn’t ready as part of the recruitment team he needs to go back to the shadows to lick his wounds tough I know but it’s tough love 3 Lambert and his keep fit class mates all need to go they have failed miserably and are totally out their depth . 4 A proper budget neeeds to be set aside the self sufficient book burnt at the alter of our relegation. The muscle of bet 365 needs to used to full extent if the brand is to get the exposure you desire, no talk of charlton and Portsmouth from a company paying dividends as big as Man City’s summer spending 5 The budget needs to be set to recruit a proper manager and backroom staff and recruitment team with real pedigree first, big Sam would be ideal if he is available , but if not one with a track record , not a out of work reinventor of a stalled career 6 A new drive at renewal of season tickets based on leadership and acknowledglemt of the fact not carpet sweeping the Issue 7 Then back the manager and new recruitment team to run the sale of key assets and their replacement , may be a budget of £50m plus sales received would go a way to restoring the £100:revenue line quickly .it might take two years given the amount of change but the longer it’s left the longer it will take 8 finally don’t dither bring it on now the battle is lost , we need to start to prepare for the war now
It’s a time for leadership now as the greatest ever once said sucesss isn’t final nor failure permanent it’s the courage to fight on that counts , with real leadership now this isn’t our darkest hour but without it there is no compelling reason for us to engage in the struggle , ball is firmly in your court .Many are looking to you to provide iit if Scholes and co are permitted to remain , i for one will not be going into the championship trenches with anything like the same regularity, not an easy decision when my own fathers fallen ashes lie at the stadium , let Churchill step forward and Black adder be banished for ever

Make what you like of this gents....just off the BBC Website
Stoke goalkeeper Jack Butland speaking to Match of the Day: "I thought the fight and desire was there but we were given an uphill task with the red card. We made it very hard for ourselves, when the conditions were already doing that. We gave it a right go but ultimately we came out on the wrong side of the result.
On Charlie Adam's sending off: "Charlie apologised, we've not spoken too much about it to be honest but he has apologised either way. It will hurt him and it hurts us but we need to stop making it so difficult for ourselves.
"We have a great attitude, we have a great bunch of lads and the responsibility was there. Everyone stepped up but it just wasn't enough."
On Everton's goals: "Disappointing. I need to look at the first one again but I felt I got a good hand on it and felt I should have turned it round the post. I hold my hands up, with the work we put in it's very disappointing to concede the goals that we did."

Lets face it you dont need the benefit of hindsight do you? Shocking team selection. Fuck, many called it before the whistle! Soon as no Bauer (god knows why over Johnson) or Geoff even on the bench (god knows why not selected over Adam with their pace in the side) we would struggle if not lose. Here we are. Lambert fiddles while Bet365 burns. Hopeless tinkering, hopeless situation, hopeless tactics, and also hopefully take reckless idiot Adams with you when you leave.

Vis Unita Fortior .... we fight on until we're doomed and then we fight on to ruin someone else's day.
And once our hard won survival (or doom Laden relegation) is confirmed, we can address our myriad issues. Until then there's always the pub.

It's a fact. We are not down. Unless of course you're Vale and want us to go down... Deluded bud if you bthonk stoke can stay up. It was all over at the Brighton game.... I knew it then... they were shite. They've been shite all season and to think it's going to change is just self delusion. Fuck off with yer vale comments. So why didn't you stop watching in August? I agree we've been poor throughout but the simple facts are that there's 18 points to play for, wouldn't it be sad if our rivals lost all their matches and we could have stayed up if we had fought for all 18?

It’s been a good ride for the last 10 years and maybe we’ve been punching above our weight. Now its odds on it will be the Chumpionship next season and perhaps considering our current set-up throughout the club, we will find our true level. Trouble is, unless there is a massive change, we’re gonna be in a lower league for a long time. At least we’ll still have a derby with the Baggies. ...and a trip to Shrewsbury....Blackburn (GMP will love that)....Millwall (our lads will love that)....Ipswich (Suffolk Stokie will like that....) "Happy days are here again....." some great grounds to go too.

Ok if it happens, it happens. On a positive side, some cracking games next season against sides who traditionally should be up there instead of crass teams like Brighton, Bournemeouth, Watford, Huddersfield to name a few. Just enjoy a year off, we'll be back but one note of concern dont let whats happening at Sunderland happen to us otherwise its a long road back. We have to re-build, get our mojo back! I'm renewing!
