Crouch and play hoof ball with other players getting around him. I think it’s the way to go for the rest of the season. Bombardment.

It's a shame that the 4 votes for Crouchy are from Lambert, his assistant, Coates and March.

Amazingly, it's coming up to 5 months since Jese's last start - and apart from a semi-bright half against Brighton, he hasn't really offered anything since. Mind you, can he be worse than any other option? so I can see the appeal of something different. Think I'd go for Choupo though (who I don't rate at all) What a mess

Wrap up warm tomorrow because we aint going to be jumping around celebrating any Stoke goals. We can't score against lesser opposition so what chance do we have against arguably the best team in the world right now?
Sorry to be negative, I hate it, but sometimes you just have to be a realist and accept this game is not one to focus on in our battle, just get it out of the way with no injuries and concentrate on getting something from the remainders.

With Man City seemingly having the title in the bag and bigger fish to fry it might be a good time to catch them unawares ,like the false 9 thing that took them apart, if we were brave enough. Which we won't be of course. Routine 2 -0 defeat I reckon where they barely get out of 2nd gear.

Lambert was talking crap about Ramadan and he'd be the one I'd play to counter Walker and then Coleman against Everton. Coleman worries massively tbh if Chopper is on the left wing.

I don't think you can answer the question in isolation from knowing what the manager's game plan is. I just hope that the coaching staff have come up with some ideas on how to stop them, and will play the right horses for that particular course. For example, if you do play Crouch, you've got to play a system which suits his game. What should that gameplan be ? I've no idea but I'm not a professional football coach. I start with the assumption that we'll lose. Objectively it's very difficult to consider any other outcome, but this is football and stranger things have happened, most recently at Wigan. Common Stoke !

I would go with nobody up front and nobody in midfield, but with Shaqiri in a "false inverted winger" role, spending most of the game supporting Pieters and Stify in the left-back position, lulling Man City's defenders into a false sense of security, and then suddenly, in one carefully selected moment in the middle of the second half, popping up on the opposite corner of the pitch and finding enough space to unleash a swervy shot from 35 yards.
Then in the 85th minute I would bring on Crouch.

Ten outfield players to defend and attack.
And most people in the poll want to line up with a lone striker, even though we haven't got a player who can play that role.

Why is Jese even considered, he doesn't get stuck in or fight for the ball both of which are needed for a lone striker, zero pace and to top it off isn't a striker. Does anybody else?

Moting tries but he's no where near in any position atm, I'd go with Bera, did well against Chelsea, it's not like we're expecting much today anyway, use it to get some mins into his legs.
