Evening all. I am a forest fan coming in peace. We have just signed a deal to have macron as our new kit supplier. Can you give us an insight into quality and thoughts on them?? Cheers in advanced....ed

My kids love them and the quality has been good.
Odd sizing but apart from that, no complaints from the davejohnno household

Adult training wear is narrow across the shoulders but wide at the bottom and my boy was just turned 4 when the new kits were released and aged 7 shirt fits him nicely apart from being a tad long.
As I say a little odd but quality is good. My boys are never out of them and they are still as good as new.

The material is good quality. Sewn on badges. Nice feel. However... They are bloody terrible designs, they are genuinely vomit inducing. I don't think I've liked one shirt they've done for us. Apart from the light blue one, last season. Also they are then relegation manufacturers. Proper cursed... Sizes go from S to 5XL or even 6XL. Always go a size up though. Prices are standard really, £40 for short sleeves £45 for long sleeve I think. Or it might be £50.

I think their Premier League badge has an (R) next to it by default.

Aside from the relegation & sizing issues that have already been mentioned the kits are genuinely bespoke & each teams kits are freshly designed unlike the usual suspects Adidas, Nike & Puma produce e.g. Forests blue away shirt being a slightly different shade of Birminghams home shirt..! Having the same sponsors didn't help either with that! Was abit wary when Stoke first moved to Macron but they've been ok & training wear range is pretty smart too..

Not British sizes. So basically you have to buy one size bigger than you would usually do. If you want an XL shirt you need to buy an XXL one etc.

I sincerely hope that awful huge white panel on the back of the shirt was a one off and disappears next season. I really didn't believe this league rules horseshit, as no other club has anything as big or ugly. Macron need to get their brains in gear and come up with something far more sensible and better looking than that blot on the landscape.

The long sleeve training tops are quality. They are very warm. My lad has a Stoke one & also his Junior side has an Macron one. The Stoke one is thick and has hole in the cuff so it acts like a glove.
The sizing issue is that they are European sizes, eg Macron Large is an UK Medium etc.

Thank you for all of your comments, genuinely appreciated. We have had Adidas for the last few years and have had some very nice kits. There seems to be a bit of snobbery about changing to macron, with a lot saying they won’t buy it as the quality is poor. I find that bizarre given they supply prem clubs, Serie a (including Lazio) and other top flights in other countries.
Great of luck with the remainder of the season

I really like the design, I thought this years away top was initially wrong. But it's grown on me, and the shorts are excellent. Just wish they would fuck the white panel off he home shirt. Also love the 3rd top

The designs are poor. We've had an awful, awful plain back on our shirts, so that we barely look like Stoke any more.

Attachment DeletedReally don't think the plain backs are issues created by Macron, they do produce full striped back for shirts so I'm sure it's the club who specify them to encourage more name and number purchases & to increase retail revenue. The pic above is the rear of an OGC Nice Macron top so its definately not a production issue their end. Surely theres someone on the supporters council who can raise this at a meeting & to tell Scholes that the 'it's for if we play in Europe' thing im sure the club once reeled out to us is a pipedream that expired a good few years ago.

They are terrible if you want to wear them regular, all the iron on badges logo peel off, my sons have 2 each none of the 4 are as they were when bought.

Great of luck with the remainder of the season The quality is fine and the designs are more hit than miss for me. In fact our away one this year is the only one (out of five) I've not really liked so far. I guess it's all subjective but seriously anyone who thinks the fucking 12-second-design pieces of template three-stripe shite that Adidas churn out (as they did with us) are preferable to kits with a considered bespoke design and nice attention to detail like what Macron produce is just stuck in the schoolyard aged 11 where anything by Adidas or Nike is just automatically THEBEST.

I like how a lot of them come with the red button colour faded on to the white collar on the third kit.
Crap quality.

If you want an XL shirt you need to buy an XXL one etc. I grabbed a XXL away top in the weekend's flash sale (£12 instead of £45), I usually wear an XL in all other clothing but after seeing this thread I thought I'd go a size up to be on the safe side. It was way too small, it's like they're designed for blokes with the body of a 12 year old girl. Took it back today for a refund.
