Can't see us beating both of those. I think we'll draw with Everton and hopefully beat Burnley. Just as well Everton won today so hopefully they have nothing to play for Everton lost to Burnley.. their away record is awful btw. Ffs! Yes General you're right, I'd it in my old head Everton won. Still think we'll struggle to beat them (anyone), needed to beat Brighton and Watford

As soon as we brought Crouch on at half-time you could see how the pattern of the game would go. We thumped ball after ball towards him, those he reached then went to an opposition players, those he missed came whizzing straight back. Love Crouchie to bits and its not his fault, what we needed was pace and Choupa not to miss sitters.
Wish I could be more upbeat. As a Stoke supporter I am happy we got a point; if I was a Southhampton supporter I would be gutted that they didn't get all three points. Some brilliant saves by Jack and solid defending but that stops us losing games, we need more up front if we are ever going to win.

I hope the manager acknowledges our problems, says that we need to be much better on the ball but accept that a point is ok considering the chances that Southampton had Hope he gives special praise to Jack I would have settled for a point today but not such a disappointing performance

We've finally got a bit of fight but zero chance of scoring without the ball at Shaq's feet. Needs to be played centrally so he has more options. I can't stand Choupo (obvious I know) but just for Shaq's sake I was hoping for Jesé to come on for a midfielder so we could push Shaqiri central. Problem is, Lambert obviously doesn't trust us to be solid without 3 midfielders.

4 points of 12th says we are not Wind your necks in lads - 4 points off 12th with 9 games to go, will give the shits to some teams above us. Huddersfield for one - look at their goal diff now, that's a potential catch up. Believe!! We simply haven't seen enough to 'beleive' - we need to win football matches to stay up and we simply aren't doing that

There must be some MUST WIN games, too? They were shit and there for the taking. I think any Hughes team when we were flying would have pissed that. Unfortunately, the squad he assembled can't piss on anyone. Looking at Crouch ambling around, and the equally inept Diouf earlier, I think we deserve to go down. Neither are good enough, and we didn't even try to address that. I think we will be targeting home games v burnley Everton and palace mate. Then hopefully a couple of bonus points along the way. Don’t ask me why I’m so upbeat but today Could have easily been a game where we lost and been done for. I still see our team fighting. To me, there's only Shaq, Allen, Butland and BMI worth a shit. We are garbage. I agree with the fight you talk about, but that's it. Hughes has a lot to answer for, and Scholes is lucky to be in his ridiculously well paid job. If anyone on here performed that badly in their's they would be signing on.

Just walking back to the mini bus. That was genuinely one of the worst games of football I've watched in a while. We are wank and we don't deserve to be in the premier league. We will struggle in the championship. We are wank. Really really wank. We deserved to lose today. Zouma and Allen were fantastic today. We have been pissed around by the owners and a shit recruitment team. I've lost my faith with this wank side now. Lambert's subs are baffling too. "We've got 15 cup finals coming up". Lol fuck off. The club is a bottler. Stoke city bottlers FC.

Following it on here it sounded very poor ... so extra credit to the travelling faithful.
A point (despite playing badly) is better than nowt. Is it enough? Obviously Spurs scoring a few more against Huddersfield would have helped but at least Swansea's big win dropped West Sham right back in the mix. Leicester's late equalizer has helped too. And if Palace, Newcastle and Brighton lose, I think today's draw will go down as shoddy rather than a dire result.

I don't know what happens in training during the week but Mr Lambert needs to start picking players who will make an effort. Chopper is a waste of time. Ramadan has to be given another chance. Crouch is a good option as a sub. Mr Lambert wasted a substitution today. Crouch should have been a straight replacement for Duffer instead of fiddling with the team to fit in Pieters.

Crouch should have gone years ago. Bayern was right bemoaning the repeated contract extensions given to him and others. It's killed us.

If this has been posted on the last couple of pages I apologise, but read into this what you like...
Stoke boss Paul Lambert, speaking to BBC MOTD: "We looked threatening in the first half. In the second they came at us. Credit to the team, a few months ago we would have lost it. It was fantastic.
"Look at the table and three points takes you to 13th I think. Momentum is with us. But a big credit to the team for that today.
"It looks like Mame Diouf's shoulder has popped out. I need to see how he is feeling. It was a big loss as he gave us an outlet."

According to Lambert 'momentums with us' neatly sidestepping the small matter of who we play next. As delusional as Mark Hughes? I am now begining to wonder.

If we go down he is not the bloke we need in charge. Pay him off and suffer the loss. Give the money from Shaq and Butland to someone who can make a decent effort. Rafa anyone?. Both those players will be gone and we all know it!.

Just not fucking good enough in a game where we needed the 3 pts.
