In taste test trials between male female it was found that white chocolate was preferred more by men than women and milk by women, if you like a darker chocolate the best way to have it is with a cup of coffee as the coffee brings out the taste. one other thing in a taste test of budget chocolates aldi came out top when put up against Cadburys 46% of people preferred it when they were told the price 100% went for it as its only 30p a bar

I like chocolate, and by that I mean I will eat it, but I never ever crave it, like these chocolate addicts who end up eating 4 big bars of Galaxy on a Friday evening. Because of that, I end up never eating it really. I much prefer crisps, salted popcorn, savoury snacks. Sweet things aren't really my thing, although I don't mind the occasional treat. Aren't we supposed to watch the salt content of everything now, though, Mets? (Although choc is high in fat & sugar, so you can't win either way.... )

Too much sugar can give you diabetes. Neither is ideal.

I like Plain Chocolate but not much for Milk. White Chocolate is just wrong.Had a discussion at work the other day with someone who hadn't a clue what Plain Chocolate was. Way back in the late 1960's I was a student in Manchester and regularly used to get the train down to Stoke to watch our games. I can still recall buying a bar of Milky Way at Piccadilly and the sales woman telling me that lots of men used to buy white chocolate.

Whatever happened to those machines on platforms that were stuffed full of the rice krispie choc bar?. (forgotten its name)?

Chuff, I've been trying everything I could think of to try to identify a Rice Crispies chocolate bar for you, but I can't find anything coming straight up with that description on the internet. I know it's a long shot, but is the one you're thinking of illustrated on here? www.google.co.uk/search?q=rice+krispie+1970s+chocolate+bar&rlz=1C1CHBD_en-GBGB746GB746&tbm=isch&source

Chuff, was it called Nestle Crunch? Yes it was!. I've just trawled the list on the link and I can see them now stacked in piles inside old vending machines. Thanks. 👍 (those machines never worked properly).
