Not now he's not all down to PL. Absolute rubbish. I respect your opinion.

It was over in November when the board dithered for the umpteenth time. Close but incorrect it was over when scholes banked the Arnie fee , the walters fee and the Beardsley fee and the Whelan fee and the transfer budget and sent us into Augist with a profit and authorised giving his pal Levy £18m for Wimmer but failed to buy any full backs , a midfielder or a striker but loaned Jesse and signed cheapo on a free . This compound failure on the back of years of under investment and poor buying has created this unholy mess , the decision to Appoint a second rate manager and Third rate backroom staff whose definition of tactics is to wave arms asking for more effort just compounding again the utter shambles .

It really is a disgrace how the powers that be have let us into this total mess! They should hang their collective heads in shame. Four points wasted against Brighton. Beggars belief! I really think these players do not give a monkeys!

The numerous 4-7 goal dickings were a bad sign too.

It's over folks. There's no other team worse than us in this league. We've got the stink of Villa all over us. Complete with players that can't go 60 minutes, a team of plodders and mercs, a board that have took our position for granted for years and our legend of a captain laughing as he went off. I can't even laugh at Adam waddling up for the rebound. It's just shit. "The stink of Villa all over us " Joking aside you are nowhere near as bad as we were at this stage of 'that season' I think we had only won 2 games ,that's TWO, we'd abused our overpaid pampered bunch of wankers for struggling to draw a Wycombe, fucking Wycombe ! The wankers had in turn abused us and the club was totally broken, you are nowhere near in that state yet, you are not adrift yet ,we were 8 points from safety at this point, you are 8 points from. 10th place, don't give up this one is going right to the wire and in stokes case the fat lady ain't even got her lyrics prepared yet,let alone be ready to sing

If there needed any more proof of the door at which to lay the blame, it was the transfer window. Players picked by the transfer team, not the manager. Taking an ill-judged gamble that Danny Ings would be available late on. Lambert was hired to toe the line, much as Hughes was before him.
The buck stops with Coates. I appreciate where the "self suffiency" thing came from but Arnautovic, Butland and Shaq aside, the cute transfer policy is clearly not working and should have been ended a long time ago.
