The new seats are slightly bigger so when the seat is lowered there is less room,I am lucky season ticket next to me stopped going so I have plenty of room.

To be fair, you can have the option of having the padding removed on your seat in the John smiths to give an inch or two extra leg room but that's at the cost of no heated seat,

At 6ft 4 & 17 stone I pray every game that the single seat next to me in Block 19 isn't sold.
On the occasions that it is then the bloke in fronts moon shaped head makes for a very comfortable foot rest.

We were OK til they put the new seats in the DPD (East) stand. The seats ‘lean back’ rather than being upright as they were before. My mate who’s over 6 foot tall has been angling to move to somewhere else in the ground for the past couple of years which I’ve managed to resist. He’s now complaining about his shins and calves being affected as he has less leg-room, so we’ll probably be on the move next season.

The new seats are definitely bigger. Pretty poor really.
They're more straight across the back as well, with the old seats the backs were curved, so that people who were tall could sit with their legs in the space created by the curve in front, now you're essentially sitting with your knees against a wall.

Having gone to my first game this season against Huddersfield. (After having had a season ticket for 18 years and seeing the writing on the wall under Hughes) I sat in the new corner and was shocked at the lack of leg room. My knees were hanging over the seat in front and had to apologize to the guy infront. I'm 5'10 and had no trouble before. Is this normal with the new seats? photos.app.goo.gl/FuZRXpAZTXs1CSGx2Nevermind the people in front... I looked at the photo and you're one of those blokes who sits with his legs wide apart encroaching on people either side of you as well!

Turn the OP's pic on its side and it looks like he's kneeling on the eyebrows of a giant made entirely of tutti-fruttis.
Juss sayin' like.

In fairness that was the main reason I kept my season ticket for the last 2 years of boredom.

I'm 6'3 so the problem is even greater for me and it's throughout the stadium, sitting sideways for two hours is very uncomfortable, bring on safe standing areas. Bugger off. I’m only 5 7 and don’t want to stand behind some big bugger 😊

I'm 5'9" and leg room's fine. Could do with wider seats though as I sit next to a fat fucker who's arse covers half if my chair and normally cracks two of my ribs if he celebrates a goal (one upside of a shit season being I've spent a few more Satdee nights watching Match if The Day from my own sofa rather than from a trolley in A&E).
A Lambert inspired revival could therefore be a mixed blessing.

Yep totally agree, the new seats are a fucking joke of an upgrade and other than the new colour are worse thanm the seats that they replaced
I have been a season ticket holder for many a year going back to the Lou days but this season will be the last one for my self and my mate due to the new seating that has been fitted, I refuse to pay for the privilege of sitting for two hours in that cramped and painful space with the seat in front digging in my knees/shins.
And we are not the only people that we know who will giving it a miss next season for the same reason, so hopefully for all the people who are prepared to put up with the pain.....there may be a little more room to stretch out next year on our behalf.....there is no need to thank me!

I think I am right in saying away to coventry, the seats were tiny, so everyone stood for the whole game. I didnt notice anyone sitting down! yes your correct and the area we had been given was so small that some young rips had to move the tarpaulin so we had extra room to spread into

Looks like I've stumbled across a cock measuring contest.
Well I'm 5'5" and stretch out like I'm on the fucking beach. It's bliss. Haha unlucky you big bastards!!
If only I could see the game from behind the 8 year old child sitting in front.

My main complaint about the new seats, up until now, has been that they face the pitch.

But then I suppose I could be Elton John given that it's Watford tonight.
