Saw Bluto walking round the lake at Trentham before Christmas (on his own, not with the group). He's still a big fella - as in everyone else seems to have shrunk?!

Does anyone know where this was taken because it looks really familiar Trentham Hotel possibly? Cheers pal your right it is the hotel spent many a happy night in there during the 80s

They were all great players and i loved watching dennis and pej.
You have to admire the bravery of the players to play against each other in those days!
Slightly off beam, a nice story in harry redknapps autobiography about jimmy case / stewart pearce
Harry waxes lyrical about jimmy case squaring up to everybody and ' cutting in half ' anyone who fouled his bournemouth youngsters ( case joined bournemouth at the very end of a glamourous career)
Eventually Case comes up against stuart pearce, who wastes no time in brutually dispatching harrys bournemouth youngsters one by one to the treatment room
The youngsters look to Case to come to their rescue, as he always does. But Case just shakes his head and says ' not today lads '

They all look like they got their shoes from Primark apart from Dennis, his mrs probably got them from Debenham's for him.
