I think the "go on Stoke" they've being playing through the speakers before the Delilah is genuinely repulsive. It reminds me of 2008/2009 when we had it rocking but then equally just serves as a reminder we're nowhere near that level now.
Just smacks of small time. The minute we have a flag waver behind the goal like Arsenal and Rangers, I'm out I'm afraid.

And chuck out those fucking seats. Be great to stand again.

A bit of a bigger song repertoire (had to look up the spelling of that) wouldn't go amiss either. Land of hope and glory Home of Stoke FC etc etc And we're not bloody cricket fans; dump the barmy army crap and bring back 'red and white' And dump the 'we hate Vale' bollocks. Imagine hearing West Ham chanting 'we hate Orient'. We'd think they are right fuckwits As a longstanding Stoke fan who lives a long way from Stoke the Vale thing never meant much to me other than not one of the people I work with or am friends with knows where Vale are from. They are irrelevant and we should probably just ignore them.

Referring back to my original post about a flag waver behind the goal, I was a tad dramatic, but that's not to say everything done to manufacture an atmosphere in my opinion does the opposite, or at least creates a pale imitation. We didn't have any fancy stuff when we came up and created magical environments for the team like the Manchester City game, it was the pure passion and belief of the crowd, and hopefully this Saturday we can return to it in some form or another.
