I want everyone to hate us again!!! This,x100. Those early seasons in the Prem,(especially the first)where it was us against the world were superb. Its weird but it seems an uninspiring appointment,on paper I might add, has in the main galvanised and united our support. As has been posted on other threads,Paul Lambert seems very happy to be here and although talk is cheap I was very impressed with his press conference yesterday. Conner wait for Saturday, get yer singing heads on boys. GGGOOOAAARRRNNNN STOKE.

Reading forums from other clubs, it’s plain to see everybody wants us to go down and f**k off forever. Well it’s time to cut out the negative crap and get behind Lambo and the boys....The BEAR PIT / 12th Man must return on Saturday. Let’s see those Terriers shaking in their boots.
C’mon STOKE !!! We’re right behind you.⚽️

Stoke on Trent is our city. SCFC is our club. A place where I was born and bred. A place where I was educated. A place where I had to put up with being laughed at for being a Stoke fan, by the glory hunting Shit fans who had never been to a fucking game in their life. Once a Stokie, always a Stokie and it is now time to show the world and his wife what our club means to us. I will admit I had an apathetic approach to our games and to be honest, football in General. It gives me a feeling of shame that I could turn on my club in such a manner. But no more. It's time to show everyone who we are again. WE ARE STOKE, WE ARE PROUD, WE ARE LOUD AND MORE TO THE POINT, WE DONT GIVE A FUCKING TOSS WHAT PEOPLE THINK OF US. SEE YER SATDEE.

I've gone through various stages of frustration, depression, anger and bewilderment over the past months. Frustration with the inability to change Mark Hughes when we should have done so before we even kicked a ball this season. Depression from the appalling standard of defending combined with an alarming lack of penetration in the opponents half. Anger from the board's complete lack of decision making in the face of relegation staring them squarely in the face. Bewilderment at the appointment of Paul Lambert as our new manager. On reflection I haven't really enjoyed the last 18 months as the management, the team and even us, the fans, have become unconsciously complacent about our right to be a fixture in the Premier League. And make no mistake, if we had retained Leslie, we would surely have forfeited that right. However, I watched the match last night and quite bizarrely enjoyed it. Our fans were back to their sardonic, supportive best. The players showed more perspiration for the badge and the new manager conducted himself with dignity and humour at an interesting press conference earlier today. In short, I just think we might have got our mojo back just in time.. It's tight and we've got a mountain to climb but I'm on the train.. right behind the new manager. A manager who is extremely proud to manage our football club. Time to get the old siege mentality back.. starting Saturday. C'mon STOKE. N It’s a reflection of how the game is now played

I totally agree with the title of this thread
It will also be music to the boards ears
Battlers are usually cheaper than flair players on the whole aren’t they?
I’ll be in full support of our team on Saturday but, I’m really disappointed with our board’s long term ambition.

Dear Stoke City Football Club,
Please, please, please drop the pre-recorded crowd noise and playing of Delilah prior kick-off. We've got this.

Stick that up in the dressing room, job done. Get it on the big screen I never liked Paddy Power because I find their adverts moronic. But I find this particular gesture deplorable by any company against any manager. I bloody well hate them now. Wankers.

I wasn’t keen on Lambert to say the least.
I’m not confident we’ll stay up, to say the least.
But thank you PP for helping unite the fan base, including myself, to focus on staying up.
Let’s do this thing.
