Hope he can kick his backside and get him playing to his potential but we are in relegation battle (helped by his attitude)

Deserves a chance under a new manager, as does Bojan. It would be an absolute last chance, however. I'd play him behind the striker in a 4-2-3-1.

What our midfield needs (desperately needs), is a new N'zonzi type player (box to box), and a new Whelan type player (a disciplined holding midfielder).... At the moment we have neither....and Imbula ain't gonna change that!!!

I’m willing to reset my opinions of the whole squad now there’s a new manager in place.
Except for Wimmer, he’s just apocalyptically shit.

The least he should do with both of them is recall them, put them through their paces, make a judgement of their (Imbula’s) attitude and then make his own mind up.
My only worry would be that with only 16 games left simply everyone has to be giving 100% and if the manager feels he wouldn’t get that then he simply can’t take the chance.

If there is a recall option then I'd certainly bring him back. Call him what you like but he'd offer us more than Fletcher right now.
Ideally, I'd want us to sign a new midfielder but if we can't I'd drag him back and sort the fucker out.

That doesn't matter , if he's still a joyless p*sstaker , who wants fifty grand a week for doing nowt , can't be arsed to physically fight to win the ball back and can't even be bothered to say ' good morning ' to his teammates

If we have to keep him for 3years and pay him,ask him now that the manager has changed does this change things as you see it,and would you like the chance to get into the team?If he doesn't then have him shovelling shit and any other job around the place to make some use of him.

I imagine Lambert has been advised against keeping him. And rightly so.
The biggest waste of space and talent I've seen. People are quick to forget.

Some of the comments on here
Unbelievable
I bet you'll all be willing to let Saido have another chance even though he's looked just as lazy as absolute shite?
Oh and I bet you're all praying Bojan comes back and saves us? Wait.. before he went wasn't he becoming a target cause he looked disinterested and lazy? Not putting the effort in? Looking miles off it ?
Imbula, for all his faults, is still a class act, can create something out of nothing and has bossed several games for us. On the flip side, he's had a few mares, coupled in with looking uninterested occasionaly
But when team mates such as Walters praise him to the hills and say how good he is, Jon at the time being one of the more vocal / old guard figures, I'd be inclined to think, you know what, there is a top player in there somewhere who just needs the right manager and team around him
If he's recalled and given a fair crack and falls short or fails epicly then fair enough, we can't say we didn't try to give our record signing a chance.
But to write him off on the back of being managed by Hughes who has had some really shit things said by ex players about his man management of players, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if he wasn't part of Imbulas failure.
If Lambert wants him back to work with, then let it happen.
Genuine question for those who've read this far. Would you rather see a well drilled
Allen / Imbula combination
Or Allen and Fletcher combination for the rest of the season?

Has anybody in the media asked the manager if the plan is to recall any of our loanees? Interestingly in the presser when asked specifically about Imbula his words were something to the effect " I'll ring him and ask him what's been going on
