Tow need to be loaned out one needs to be recalled from loan. Even if Muniesa isn't always fit, if we can wrap him in cotton wool and roll him out when needs must he will be a much better option at LB that young Tymon and a much better option at CB than Wimmer. Gouranga.

We need a brand new left back full stop. Pieters is injury prone and out of form anyway. Tymon and Wimmer are horrendously out of their depth and Muniesa is a likeable bloke and reasonable stop gap when fit but he always became a bit of a liability once he played a few games in a row and teams started targeting him (same happens when Cameron plays right back).
Top transfer targets must be a left back, defensive midfielder, a striker and maybe another centre half. We must get the first three though as minimum requirements.

Just because he isn’t here doesn’t make him a better player. We need proper defenders and Muni just doesn’t fit that bill.

He has quality. Which we are clearly lacking. But he doesn't have any fitness, by that I mean he gets injured comes back plays two then out again, he also can't play left back, wing back maybe but not left back, we need someone new.

Was thinking the same the other day... surely he would have been called back if possible for the almighty defensive shortage end of Dec.... unless he's been injured recently? Can definitely do a job there at LB. I'd like to see Tymon given a go at home in a more open game where we're pressing - could be good coming of the bench if we're looking to be more expansive

Tymon s last game at home was against West Ham. That went well. Do him a favour and send him on loan. Muniesa is not the answer either. Never a centre half or full back and made out of chocolate. Some fans just want him back so they can sing his song

Anyone who thinks Mumi is the answer at left back should think back to Bournemouth away last year, he was the invisible man whenever they attacked

Muniesa was/is a likeable lad, as is Bojan. But let’s not bullshit, he used to get injured getting out of bed! Maybe that wasn’t helped by the general fitness levels of the old regime though. We’ve hardly got what can be considered a robust squad currently, have we? Rory and the boys would be laughing their tits off at how unfit we’ve become 😀 I dunno why I’m laughing at that 😕 Lambert has got to sort this.

Break the contract. Fetch him back. Muni is what we need. Nothing to do with breaking a contract, it's against Fifa regulations. Season-long loans cannot be cancelled. A player can return to his home club for treatment, but a recall is not an option.

Too early to write Wimmer off, that said I don’t think he is a left back even though he has been alright there at times.

Tough game for Tyson who is still developing his skills in the Premiership Wimmer isn’t a lb All of the squad need to have a chance with our new manager, fitness needs to improve and most of all they need a confidence boost People wanted Bojan shipped out on loan when he arrived give them some breathing space

Muniesa has managed 5 games this season!!! What we have may not be the answer but neither is Muniesa Yeah but thats 5 games where we wouldn't have had to rely on Tymon or Wimmer, Tymon cost us goals v Wet Sham and Manure, Wimmer has just bee a walking disaster since he got here, maybe if he got fit and lost a stone or 2 there could be a good defender in there somewhere but we've seen no evidence of it yet. Gouranga.

I really like Muniesa but know I’m in the minority, I reckon I’m probably influenced ridiculously by how busy he was in football in the community. For all the talk of the loanees returning he’d be the one I’d want. Bojan and Imbula had their chances and are struggling out on loan. Addmitedly it looks like Muni is struggling too but I never reached an exasperated moment when he was here unlike the other two.

Having Muni and Bojan back would be good for moral. They always made the place a happier one. But we don't need entertainers at the moment. We need some dirty hard bastards who can play with broken legs. What a pity Denis is an old fart like me now. OS.

Tymon is a kid and for the future, Wimmer is just crap, Muni has never been any good at Stoke ( see my other posts) Pieters is a good tackler but shit at passing but is probably best of a really bad bunch of left backs, Hughes couldn’t see it but everyone else could, we seem to have found a decent looking right back so let’s hope we can get a left back as well.
As a last comment, let’s start living in the future and not in the rose tinted past of Muni and Bojan, neither ever really delivered......
