If anyone thinks Shaq was the problem tonight then they simply have an agenda. Exactly. Always tried to make something happen with limited options around him. He'd come alive even more if we could get some good players around him.

Said it before and say t again Choupo Moting cheats his team mates and fans. Shocking player. Say it as many times as you want and you'll still be wrong.

Both toss tonight . Lambert has some big decisions to make before 31st if he can't shake them up. Shaq wasn't toss at all. He did a couple of good things e.g. great ball for Diouf But not being arsed to work back to cover for their second and giving the ball away for their 3rd is toss . He has to play for the team more I accept he has quality but that doesn't allow him to walk about as much as he does .

Said it before and say t again Choupo Moting cheats his team mates and fans. Shocking player. 4 goals and 4 assists say otherwise. He was well below par today but he’s far from a shocking player. He’s probably one of our best players and has got great feet, balance and skill. Get a grip.

Shaq will be fine once we stop playing Crouch. Bauer will help get the best out of him too. Thought Shaq and Bauer linked up well. Great debut for the new guy.

If anyone thinks Shaq was the problem tonight then they simply have an agenda. Not the problem but.for his ability he doesn't do enough and has to work for the team more than he does . He had a great shot linked well with Ireland in our good spell and a nice ball for Diouf near the end . He just watched on their second when he could have covered martial and gave the ball away on the third. He has to do more for the team.

I don't want to sound harsh. I appreciate his ability but that does not excuse him picking his moments . He is our leading player , has quality way beyond the rest soothe expectation of him is much higher and he does have to play for the team at all times .

When Shaq starts to believe in the ability of his fellow players, he may become a better team player. He lets nobody else to deliver crosses, he constantly takes the ball of other players so that he can cross the ball, it becomes too predictable, hence the reason teams put a number of players on him when he gets the ball, its the reason he becomes frustrated, loses the ball and loses interest. There's no doubt he's got the ability but you cant beat teams on your own.

Thought Shaqiri was OK first half. Shaq good 1st half, not so good 2nd. Simple.

I wonder if Lambert will be tempted to move Shaq inside behind a striker, and bring in Ramadan out wide. I hope not we need pace, although Shaq isn't blistering he's got more than Ramadan, I'm hoping we get someone else in.

For both of them and what has been said on another thread, it's about fitness and mentality. When the fitness comes, so does the mentality. You can't do what you're good at for 90 mins if the fitness isn't there. If we are to have any chance of survival we need these two to be at top performance for the rest of the season and that needs to come through fitness which will breed mentality.

Choppo-Motting was dire !
He looked like he had run up sand hills all day before the game.
He had looked like that s few times this season.
He also left Tymon for dead on the first goal.
Lambert will have to be ruthless in sorting out how we are organised when we don’t have the ball. I for one don’t want him or Shaq anywhere the flanks because the fullback is shafted.
Shaq should play a no 10 role or false 9 or we sell him because he is a liability on the wing defensively.
There’s a place for Shaq but not out wide.
The other guy to inconsistent for my liking. Plays well one week and next week he can’t run to save his life.

Choupo's a big concern.
Got bags of talent, but doesn't want to know about doing the team-first stuff the other way.
He's possibly one that Lambert won't want to touch with a barge pole if he' tying to make an immediate defensive mark.

He's possibly one that Lambert won't want to touch with a barge pole if he' tying to make an immediate defensive mark. It’s a dilemma, he’s by no means a striker yet seems to put a shift in when asked to play there, yet stick him out wide and he has no desire to do the dirty side of the game. Needs a massive kick up the arse......

Choupo has 4 goals and 4 assists. Shaqiri has 4 goals and 5 assists.
One is worshipped and one is now starting to be put through the treatment.
Personally I think both have talent going forward but both are off it defensively. Shaq I think is down to sheer bone ideleness and Choupo is down to it being his first season in the league and he's still adjusting.
Having missed a lot of Pre Season, I think fitness is also an issue with him. Many ex pro's talk about this time of the season being a killer for those that miss pre season (wouldn't know...).

I can't stand Choupo-Moting and I think he is a terrible influence on the dressing room.
I can't fucking stand his continual posts on Instagram of Kurt Zouma. He needs to pack it in, we are in a relegation fight and he needs to get on with his job. He's also shite at football.
