Paul will sort it out, dunna werrit. I'm coming round to the idea he might. Exciting he definitely isn't. But he'll get us organised. And with some more steel in midfield and some actual finishing, we'll win a few games yet. Sent from my SM-G928F using proboards

The big issue for me is how often we give the ball away when under zero pressure and even worse how any of them rarely put in the effort to get it back. Guilty all over the pitch with this. Zouma, Shaq, Sobhi very guilty tonight and I ain't going to mention the plank that played left back in the second half.

This game means nothing, it's the next few which will determine if we stay up or not

With the squad we've got at the moment how does anyone think we'll get out of the mire?

With the squad we've got at the moment how does anyone think we'll get out of the mire? We looked tidy at times and were unlucky first half. Our lack of fitness is killing us. However a couple of decent signings and some serious organisation with fitness training and I think we could just stay up.

Cheer up mate - it was frustrating but losing at OT is not unlikely.
Zouma and Shaq gave the ball away FAR too often, which needs to stop - but this can be coached out of them quickly.
The difference tonight was: -2 unbelievable strikes. -1 handball goal -Paul Pogba
We are very capable of beating Huddersfield on Saturday and get some confidence back. We've got the players, we just need them to believe. We beat Arsenal and drew with United and looked good, with the same players.
We haven't got one of the worst 3 squads in the league.

Hopefully PL will be given funds to spend. Left back, midfielder and striker please!

As better as it was it did encapsulate all that we're bad at.
Zouma still scares me more than a French international CB should.

I'd rather have two midfielders and stick with Pieters. We need legs in the middle to chase, harry and win the ball. Three in the middle will help the defence out and help us control a game. Christ, I'd even consider bringing Imbula back, I'm that desperate 😳

The season starts vs Huddersfield.
One point off safety is by no means insurmountable, given even a mediocre run of form, assuming there's another three clubs in the doldrums, which there most certainly are.
Let's watch what happens, shall we?
