Should have stayed with Hull to be honest. I just don’t think the lad will make it anywhere near Premier League level when he gets to his peak. He could be a very good lower league player, not going to end up close to the top. He's 18 playing away at Man Utd. If an 18 year old defender is good enough at that age he certainly wouldn't be playing for Stoke. Maybe a loan deal and a year or two of experience and I'm sure he'll be ok. Everyone wants everything now in football these days. That's why there are so few English players in the Premier League. Nobody is prepared to be patient with them and let them learn from their mistakes. Spot on.

I am 65 years of age and only played left back at the standard of the Potteries & District Sunday League. I have had a hip replacement and I haven't had an alcoholic drink tonight. I can safely say though that I could still play left back for Stoke tonight better than the left back who is actually out there. At anyone time last night Tymon had Valencia, Mata, Pogba and Lukaku coming at him down the left flank. Choupo went missing at times although he had a little help from Fletcher and Indi but although he did make a few errors they were not bad enough for him to be written off. This player requires support, coaching and encouragement. Just like Edwards. Both will become good full backs.

Wimmer actually looked ok at left back. Have you been drinking look at Lakakus goal again. "Vis Unita Fortior" Zoumas fuck up caused the problem, Wimmer was shepherding Lukaku.

Your joking right, Muni was as bad if not worse, this lad needs to go out on loan and not thrown under the bus for managerial incompetence, it has been obvious to everyone we needed pretty much a new back four, Marc Wilson’s statement wasn’t far out in my opinion

Did you watch any of the pre season games Tymon played in ? showing players inside to get shots on target seems to be a trait in his game, maybe our coaches under Hughes have been that poor they have not recognised let alone addressed this issue, maybe they have tried and he can not take simple defensive duties on board time will tell but he should be nowhere near the first team yet if at all. Edwards is a different animal he likes a tackle and looks as if he could make a player.

He isn't quite ready yet but seems to be a decent lad. A loan back to the Championship or even League One will do him the world of good. I have three decent lads, but that doesn’t qualify them to play in football at the highest level.

I have three decent lads, but that doesn’t qualify them to play in football at the highest level. This ... Wilko and dicko , knew you don't let the player and the ball go past you at the same time and their opponents collected the bruises , as they enforced the golden rule of being a full back Shame then ,that wilko was average on the ball and dicko a bit less than average Tymon is quicker than both of them and better than both of them on the ball . But he doesn't have their concentration and physicallity yet . He might be a good player one day but we need someone with his pace and wilkos concentration and physicallity now , for the relegation run in
