Never, get real, he was incompetent in everything he did. He lost his way, if he ever had one and he also lost the changing room.

Yes!!
I like how it's reported that Lambert impressed the board with his knowledge of the team.
Lambert - I've done my homework behind the scenes, I'd be surprised if anyone knows but the defenders / defence is quite leaky, they seem to concede more than other teams, but don't let on about the weakness. Oh and the midfield isn't up to much either.

If the board had backed him properly over the last few seasons and spent a similar amount to those around us then I think we would be mid table quite comfortably. Sadly they didn’t, and he paid the price along with all us supporters.

I wouldn't have kept Hughes over anyone. I mean literally anyone. Phil Brown for all i care. Anything to have some mystery about whether we'll be shit or not on match day.

Hughes had no clear direction to believe in and could not be trusted with more money and as a result was taking us down. Lambert has a chance of having both.
Lambert it is. Let's go.

But obviously the fact it wasn't done at the right time says it all about the owners inadequacies.

Nah. Hughes had to go. Period Hughes was a spent force. Lambert may surprise us - BUT he needs our support, he doesn't need mindless, imbecilic backbiting and resentment. We have a manager, we have a team - and they are our club. Let's pull our fingers out and back them.

Hughes, 100% relegation. Lambert - nobody knows. He might just surprise us. He won’t Then if you're 100% confident we're already relegated I suggest you put every penny you have on us to go down. B365 offering 6/4, easy money. You won't though.

Definitely not ! Hughes should have been sacked last summer. Lambert's appointment doesn't change that.

Nah. Hughes had to go. Period Agreed with this. I'm fucking mortified with Paul Lambert. Even on this list of 3rd/4th/5th choice managers I wouldnt have even though of him. But - what was clear is that Hughes had to go.

Nah I stick my my original feeling that Hughes had to go. I just never envisaged that the board will continue to be cheap fuckers and replace him with Paul Lambert.

I saw him at Anfield with a few Wolves mates. The team looked organised and they still took the game to Liverpool. I'd still have him over Hughes.
