As this is now looking to be our last Premier League game for some time think I will make the effort to go.
How long before we are back?
Ten years?

The day that 2 SCFCs get relegated at the same time

Not if the right decisions are made. Yeah we are more than likely to go down but there is nothing to suggest another dark period unless we go for the z list 'employed by every fucker and failed' on a silly contract. Take the hit and get someone such as potter to rebuild and have a new idea.

If Potter or some other up and coming manager was appointed then yeah could look forward to next season.
If it's Lambert or any of the other dead men worry about freefall like Sunderland

I can honestly see us going there needing a good win to stay up ,with them already relegated, and us losing. It’s the way our season has gone.

If Swansea away is going to be our last game in the premier league it will probably be a very long time before we get back if ever. Its a crying shame its come to this 2 years ago we were flying & that was were we really got things wrong. We should have invested then & bought quality in & really gone for it. We may never get that chance again.

Think we will be gone by then I know things look bad, but the league is absolutely fucking shite this season, otherwise we would easily be bottom. I think it might go down to the wire with us needing something in Swansea and fucking losing. We all hope not, but we have been shocking this season. Things have been left far too long before trying to change. Now look at the fucking disaster that awaits us.

Fucking hell grow some balls please.
Ten years in the Premier League and you are not even bothered to get behind the team for the remaining few months when we are still in 18th position?

I'm absolutely bothered as everyone is,even Benji. I just don't believe this shambles will result in anything other than the drop now. I genuinely believe our players are far better than this but the die is cast.

If it's Lambert or any of the other dead men worry about freefall like Sunderland It's got to be the former mate. We are going down. The contingency plan has to be the future and not the here and now. Still think we are long way from days in the darkness but as i said above. The right decisions have to be made for the future of the club and not for the immediate desire to stay in the premier league this season.

Could be the biggest game for us in a while.
Imagine it being a 6 pointer. Whoever wins stays up and a draw isn't good enough for either side. 0-0, 3 minutes of added time. We've got a free kick 25 yards out and Shaq bends it into the top bins. Limbs everywhere. The away end engulfed with smoke bombs and a humongous piss up in Swansea after. The most excitement we've had for a while ay?
Or it'll be a shite 1-1 and we're both fucked.
Probably the latter...

If this is the case, the lap of honour at the last home game should be fun.

The day that 2 SCFCs get relegated at the same time Only one SCFC is despised by other clubs, the press and tv/radio pundits though. The other will probably be missed. No prizes for guessing which one.

If this is the case, the lap of honour at the last home game should be fun. Palace and Swansea last two games of the season. Wonder what our situation would be like coming into Palace? We've got some tough games to end the season (I think?) so could be massive!

I genuinely believe our players are far better than this but the die is cast. Well than why don't you get down the bookies and bet everything you own on relegation? If you are as a certain as you claim, if relegation is now inevitable, then surely that is the sensible thing to do? I am assuming you won't do that because deep down you know nothing is inevitable in football, the die is only cast in retrospect. As you say, we have good enough players to stay up. So long as their is a glimmer of hope, however faint, then anyone who really does care about the future of this club needs to really get behind the team for the full 90 minutes of every remaining game. It might not be decisive, but given the fine margins the 12th man could have its say in our eventual fate. We have nothing to lose from getting fully behind the team, regardless of whichever nonentity Coates is forced to appoint. That is all we can do now and waving the white flag as this stage - as you appear to be suggesting we do - will actively harm our chances.

Last time we got relegated, our final opponents (Man City) also went down. Is history about to repeat itself?
