When they dumped Tinker Man they left Craig Shakespeare in charge and he did a pretty good job. Could we do worse then keeping Eddie Niedzwiecki in charge till the end of the season. Not as big a gamble as some would think. He knows the players. He knows the partnerships that do and don't work. Only downside is total lack of experience in the transfer market. Thoughts.

Who knows, but surely tainted by the failed Hughes philosophy. Wouldn’t have any pull convincing new players to come but the biggest downside would be our collective disability in pronouncing his name correctly. In all honesty can’t really see the owners buying this one.

General feeling at Leicester was that Shakespeare was the 'coaching brains' behind the title win, whilst Eddie is part of the problem at Stoke, not part of the solution. Eddie is part of "Team Hughes" but Shakes was already at LCFC, not part of Tinkerman's "entourage"
We need fresh blood and fresh ideas and I doubt we will get that by hanging on to EN

But if we piss about for another 2 weeks chasing ghosts then we are digging ourselves deeper and deeper into the shit. I am far from ITK, but by all accounts he is well liked and a good coach...

How many better players are going to be convinced by Eddie’s vision in this transfer window?

Why not get Shakespeare until the end of the year.

If we do that surely we’d have been better to just leave Hughes in the job.
