Why are the media fawning over Pogba’s performance last night, i’m not doubting he’s a decent player but he got the freedom of manchester last night, and with time and space and nobody pressing you down you will look good.

The first was not really Tymon's fault. Because Choupo didn't bother looking after Valencia, Tymon who was marking Mata, was forced to break out of defence and attempt to narrow Valencia down. But before he got there properly the goal had gone in. If you must blame anyone, blame Choupo. Pieters, although better than Tymon. could not have helped in that situation. That's not how I remember it mate. Tymon got out to Valencia and was faced up to him, should have showed him outside. Valencia shuffled his feet a bit then just moved the ball to his left and was suddenly in 5 yards of space. No way Pieters would've let that happen. I'll admit I haven't watched a replay since it happened but I know I was yelling at the screen for Tymon to get closer at the time. I'll agree Choupo didn't help much throughout the first half, but Tymon always seemed to be reacting too slow. And really no confidence on the ball. But he was thrown in the deep end tonight so if I come across as being too hard on him that's not my intention. Tymon is a fullback. Valencia is (now) a fullback. They're not supposed to mark each other. Since Choupa wasn't bothered tracking the United player, Tymon was forced to come out of his deeper position and before he could challenge properly Valencia did his shimmy. It was a great goal. If Tymon had been marking Valencia at the beginning, it might still have happened, because he's a great player, also very experienced. Tymon is not.

Tymon was at least 10, if not 15 yards from Valencia, because it was his job to mark Mata. With no one picking up Valencia Tymon was forced to go forward but he was stretched, with Valencia having all the time he needed

The truth is, none of em are much good kpmj or whatever your name is. Cow's arse and banjo come to mind! When you add to that, the worst defence and midfield, we're in deep do do's. Miracle needed.

The poor bugger certainly didn't get much protection from Choupo

Tymon fed to the wolves in comparison to Bauer. Valencia is a winger really and Tymon couldnt handle him or anyone else. Not his fault as he should not have been put in that position. Danny Higginbottom said he needed to try and push him outside, but Valencia and others kept coming inside. So in my book at fault for first two goals but great finishing - if we had the finishing they had we could have had three goals by Half time and a different game altogether. They had to take him off at Half Time
